Great for cleaning all my pew pews after dirtying them up with loads of barking meemees.

I used these pointed swabs for gun cleaning (not sure what else they are good for) and in the past have never used the pointed ones. These held up really well and did great and the length and double sided is just what I needed for a bunch of different types from milsurp to modern rifle and especially my handguns. The wood is not super strong and I broke a few, but it didn't fully disconnect so didn't lose an end in a deep throat chamber or nothing which was great too.

These swabs are much more firm than usual cotton swabs, which has both positive and negative effect. These swabs have a firm, defined point at the end which allows to clean rails and hard to reach areas of guns. The negative of this is there is little “give” when you press firmly into a groove so less is picked up. I use these along with softer swabs when gun cleaning, each with its own purpose. Still highly recommended as part of a gun cleaning regiment.

Durability spot on won't break like other brands.

I wasn't sure if I would like the pointed tip on these cleaning swabs, but they work fantastic! Now, I wish all my other cleaning swabs had a pointed tip like these. The swabs are durable and the cotton does not fall off the end.

These should last me a lifetime. I use for gun cleaning, electronics and guitar cleaning too. (and cleaning my German Shepherd's big ears). The bamboo slicks are much stronger than wood, so they flex without breaking, which allows you to put a lot of sideways pressure without snapping/breaking them.
