Baby Bump [Blu-ray]

Highly Imaginative
This is... an odd movie. But odd in a good way. If you're looking for a riveting story, you're in the wrong place; that said, if you're looking for a compelling movie that is playful with its medium and truly does something that can only be done in THIS medium, then you're in the right place. Some might consider it a case of style over substance, but then this thing flew right over their heads as the strangeness of the style is here to play out a theme instead of a true narrative. The theme of the movie is the challenge in adolescence of learning to accept one's self in order to truly stand up for one's self and grow as a person. In order to do that, the film in essence caricaturizes the broader world in general to create a fever dream replete with all the confusion of growing up featuring, amongst other things, a foul-mouthed cartoon mouse, suggestive bread billboards, completely feckless adults, and a wide array of daymare hallucinations. If your film library has a special place for the works of Sion Sono then this will fit right in.

Childhood Puberty is Rough on the Imagination!
This movie was very aventguard...if that's how you spell it!It was beautifully done..... but very weird with a feel of Picasso painting! That of a feeling of a boy going through the odd stages and thought of puberty and possible wild imaginainings! Some very disturbing images!Watch with an open mind....if you can...ofa Clockwork Orange experience! This film makes you think and is shocking!!!🤯🤫😖

Amazing arthouse film. David Lynch x Disney Vibe
This film was pure arthouse bliss. Ignore the bad reviews trashing the film for being “gross” or “too much” Imaginative, boundary pushing amazing colourfully strange art film which will make your jaw drop.

For mature and liberal people only.
Mickey is eleven years old and just beginning puberty which he does not like and does not understand possibly because his mother has not told him about the facts of life. He is concerned about his ears sticking out which he uses glue to hold them back. The film follows him at home and at school. His mother is dysfunctional and a sexually liberated women who is going through a divorce and during the film sets up a relationship with one of the security staff at Mickey`s school. Towards the end of the film Mickey is seen coming out of an egg and growing a large stomach which I admit do not understand. This dvd is a German released version of the original Polish film but has the option of an English narration which is interdisperced with English subtitles the language is coarse and may reflect the street language of the 11- 15 years old group of children. The makers of this film have thrown the kitchen sink at you in order to shock you this includes explicit sexual scenes with comical outcome and horror thrown in. A liberal attitude is required and with this experimentation of filmmaking it is ` compelling` to watch.A Blu Ray copy is due to be released in America shortly and the film has been termed as an `Art House ` film by one critic I am not so sure if it will be ever released in the U.K. due to our sensibilities. This film could go to `cult` status very quickly however, whatever you views are on respectability I am pleased to see a film this different from the norm.

Schwer zu verstehen, doch mir hats gefallen.
Toller comming of age Film. Bilder springen teilweise hin und her. Was ist Traum was ist Wirklichkeit?
