Several months ago I scraped a pole leaving massive white and yellow paint transfer on my relatively new truck. I kept putting off having it repaired. Last week while cleaning my garage a stack of tubs fell over and left a lot of little quite noticeable scratches. My heart sank. Anyway, I went on Amazon and read the reviews of several products and decided on this one. Got it on Sunday and immediately tested it out. To my surprise it removed all of the scratches and even removed all the really bad paint transfer. You can’t even tell where they were. Downside, the manufacturer really needs to come up with better packaging. This product is wet and when you pry open the lid, the product spills out. I would definitely purchase again.

I ordered this yesterday, took the car to the Carwash today to get it cleaned and then worked on the scratches when I got home. It worked great. It took out four scratches that were in the drivers side door. It had been scraped by a golf cart. The dealership quoted $1500 to remove the door, repaint and re-install! Even though it’s a new car I said NO! Too much money. Thank god I did. This stuff worked great! Five Stars for sure!

I don’t know about “superior” but it seems to be good enough. It dries out a little too easily for my liking and I wish stuff like this didn’t smell like fuel oil, but this kind of product is essentially grit, wax, and some sort of solvent like fuel oil so I’m not sure much can be done about nasty smells.I actually used this to polish scratches out of plastic composite so wasn’t using it for the usual auto paint application. That required more work than usual since the material was harder, and that’s why I had some trouble with it getting too dry, but it’s probably fine in more normal situations.Tip: if this stuff does dry on something, just use more of the same from the jar to dissolve and soften it to wipe it off. Basically use the product itself as a solvent for removing dry patches of itself, because it contains the right solvent for itself anyway.

I bought this because it was cheapest, but I think I got lucky and got one of the best. I can recommend this product. It did exactly what it said it would do. Someone keyed my wife's car, and they did a great job of doing it. I did not think I was going to be able to buff it out. I actually took it to a couple of places that clearly did not want to try. One place said they would do it for $800. I figured what the heck, and ordered one of the cheaper compounds I had heard of. It took me three applications. I followed the instructions, and after I buffed it out, I washed it down and waxed it to close the paint. If you know where to look and you get down there six inches away and look for it, you can find where the car was keyed. But if I tell you there is some damage on the car and leave you to find it, you might not even find it at all. And if you do, it is going to take you a while. This product did a very good job of repairing my wife's car.

Removed a couple of small scrapes from my car and made that part of the finish look new again. Worth the price.

This product smears an oily substance on to your paint. Does not hide swirl marks on painted surfaces. Terrible product. I personally do not recommend this item.
