Not bad so far
It's a N100; it runs a bit warmer than I thought it would be. It comes loaded with PFSense +. However, it comes pre-loaded in Chinese; and not the easiest to switch. it also has dns defaulting to CHINA. While it does have PFSense + on it, it does not seem to be registered as a PFSense + client. It runs in the 107 degree F to 120 F so far, but I am only running one client behind it right now.I've been working thru the configs for about a week now. I wanted a more complicated and segmented network due to the types of devices on it, so that's my fault, Once I figured out that I could not get rid of the Chinese DNS/language that it would default to upon reset, I reloaded it with OpnSense.. So far, pretty good. In reality, I was trying to shoehorn 5 distinct networks into 3 on the older wifi router; really wanted a bit more, so this is what I'm starting with. In my case, I wanted to segregate home computers, guest wifi, IOT, storage, and work computers onto distinct networks. This will certainly allow that, along with a managed switch. There is a learning curve, and I should just buy a dedicated access point. The unit's construction is pretty dang good. It does come predrilled for wi-fi antennas, but I haven't been able to find a compatible M.2 wifi card that would act as a Access Point. IF I find one, well, there's room for one inside. Overall, I'm fairly happy with the unit. Actually, I haven't been able to find any fault other than the Chinese defaults; I was able to switch it to English, but upon reset, it went back to Chinese defaults.Should I mention again, the build quality is pretty dang good. Heatsinks are quite BEEFY.. N100 is probably overkill, but it's a more modern design than some of the other variants that use older processors and older DDR3, but those actually cost MORE. I chose the 8G model, mainly because I didn't want to wait.

Fast Delivery, Makes a great opnsense router
The unit arrived much faster than advertised. After two days of running, the unit works great.I purchased the no ram and no ssd version, i3-n305. I added a Western Digital 2TB WD Blue SN570 NVMe and Crucial RAM 16GB DDR5 4800MT/s CL40 Laptop Memory CT16G48C40S5 both from Amazon. There were no compatibility issues (please give the first power up some time, it takes a while for ram training). I tried both Windows 11 and opnsense and both ran without any issues. This is what I did for windows 11 (mostly so I could run some testing tools). I downloaded onto a USB flash drive on another pc the following to be installed after the first boot of windows 11. I Installed these in this order:(1) Intel® Chipset Device Software for Windows® 10 64-bit and Windows 11* for Intel® NUC Kits & Mini PCs 6th Generation and Later(2) Intel® Ethernet (LAN) Network Driver for Windows 11* for Intel® NUC 13 Pro Kits & Mini PCs - NUC13ANAt this point the network is up then I installed the following to get any remaining drivers.(3) Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)I also ran memtest86 and the intel diagnostic tool to check for any issues and both pass easily. The bios options are way more complex than you would find in a home pc, so you really need to do your homework before changing anything. There are several internal connector pins including a couple strange ones labeled JPWR1 and JPWR2 next to the two USB headers (front and back) that I have no idea what they do, so I left them alone. The unit appears to support a 4-wire pwm fan (looks to be 80x80x10), but the connectors (there are two of them) are much smaller than found on a typical home pc. I would love to get a fan as a precaution and there are some smart fan controls in the bios (thermals seem to be ok so far), but I have no idea where to get the cable and/or the fan.

With four ports and pfsense, it gets the job done
I liked having so much power at my fingertips. The N100 is underrated for power and speed. I installed pfsense directly on the metal but honestly, installing proxmox or something first is probably better because it's overpowered as only a firewall. However, you can install more fancy features under pfsense to take advantage of the extra cores and ram, like pfblockerng or fail2ban without worrying whether or not the device can handle it. It also solved one of my big issues with a celeron based firewall: it can handle multiple streams coming in and keep up with gigabit line speeds. Also the extra ports can be used for dmz, VPN access, public services, etc. Overall a lot of power in a small silent package.

Working Great!
I'm using this for an OPNsense firewall. It was as described and when I asked for the latest bios, they immediately sent me a link. Great Customer service. Would purchase again without hesitation.

Good
Does a really good job. Been running wild with all the features of the included pfSense+ and don't seem to remotely stress it out as it has plenty of resources. The original image that it ships with is in Chinese and even if you find a step by step guide to change it to English, parts of it remain in Chinese. Hope it lasts.

Used for OPNsense
Using this for OPNsense for my home network. It is probably much more processing and memory than what is required. Even with the whole family using the internet a the same time it is not even close to full utilization. Also, boot from USB to install was super easy, so I would recommend it without reservation.

Stellar customer service and cheapest i3 Firewall PC out of all vendors on the Internet.
I had my thoughts of buying this machine elsewhere but it turned out that through Amazon. It got considerably cheaper. The PC is very high quality, exactly as described. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I contacted the seller for information about installing a 8010 pwn fan. Wow to my positive surprise it turned out that this company has the best customer service too. I got fast, reliable and instructive reply back from the kindest person there. She went out of her way without me even asking and ordered a special fan kit cable for free sent out to me free of charge. The management is also very kind and understanding. A bunch of great people that knows how to care for their customers. Thank you so much to you all, I got so happy with everything especially the stellar top-tier customer service you wonderful people gave me. You really made me smile!Wow what great service you give. Thank you for your wonderful kind words, thank you for being so responsive and reliable. I'm very glad for getting this extra cable. I can confirm the address and phone number is correct. You are truly amazing on what you do, I wish you a prosperous and wonderful life. Your family must be so proud in having such a beautiful person as you in their family. Thank you so much take good care of yourself. Keep being you, because your awesome!

Best fanless low power n100 box
Brought the barrbone version tosssed 16gb ram and 2 512gb nvme SSD. Using this unit for about 1.5 months as a proxmox running opnsense, tailscale and few other services. Impressed with the build quality. I am not facing any CPU overheating issue like others (just change the thermal paste if you are). However my NVME drives were running hot, so I contacted the seller for a fan kit. Seller send me the motherboard manual and a customized fan kit for free.Better than ordering from AE as the shipping delay will be too much and you won't get amazing after sales service from HUNSN. They were very prompt in replies. Definitely recommend them over others.

Great little appliance so far
I bought the i3-N305, no-RAM, no-SSD version (added my own upon arrival).Installed OPNsense on it and so far it runs like a charm and seems very snappy. Installation was easy and all hardware was recognized (I'd still recommend avoiding a no-name SSD / RAM if you add your own and want to run PFSense or OPNsense, for peace of mind, warranty, stability and also as FreeBSD is maybe less "forgiving" than Linux). The BIOS has an extensive amount of settings that can be tweaked and I mean, really extensive. I only disabled audio and the audio beep; the rest of the settings seem to follow sane defaults. You can geek out there for quite a while if you want/need, though. The unit doesn't run hot so far but I have yet to test it under full load; I assume it might get hotter but the guys from ServeTheHome seemed to say that even so it will still stay within reasonable limits. For a mini-firewall and especially if you don't need more than 2.5Gbit routing, it seems to be one of the top choices at this moment. The vendor was very proactive and contacted me as soon as I made the purchase, to recommend that I use some quality/branded RAM and SSD and was very open to any further questions. They also followed through with another message when the delivery guy missed me on first attempt, to make sure I was aware and will reschedule the delivery.A nice touch of extra care that was appreciated.

Great as a little home server, temperatures can become a concern though
Good little machine. Works beautifully as a hypervisor with Proxmox.Future iterations may need better or active cooling by default, though.Especially for the SSDs and if you allow two of them inside. Without proper airflow, they get toasty, even at idle. Not to the point of overheating, but an almost constant 60C is probably not good for long-term durability? If anyone else wants to add a fan, the CPU-FAN or SYS-FAN headers requires some like a "1.25mm Pitch (PicoBlade) size" connector. Haven't tested that yet, still waiting on material. But normal 4pin PWM or even the smaller 4pin GPU connector are too big.Small note about boot up: If no display is connected to the machine, it will beep five times after the normal boot beep. At first I thought something was wrong, but it's just an indication that no display is connected.
