I put these on my shoe laces and it's easier than tying them, and cheaper than buying the laces with the locks already on them

I have scrawny kids. Lately, i can't seem to sew some of my son's pants small enough in the waist, even though i can't go down to a smaller size because of the length. Many boys' pants come with drawstrings, but he's too young to tie them quickly or securely enough after using the restroom at school. These little cord locks did the trick! So convenient, and they only took a minute to slip onto several pairs of his pants. Easy to use! He can adjust them quickly himself. Plus, if he gains some weight, the pants aren't sewed into a size that's too tight.I tried them on flat drawstrings, and different sized cords, and it worked for all the things i needed. Tweezers helped me pull some of the wider cords and cords without an aglet through without causing them to fray or get stuck. Then the spring stopper thing slid easily.

They seem to be very good quality to me. The plastic is robust and the spring is strong. Unfortunately, I’m returning these because they’re too large for my application. You can see the size from the photos. The holes in these locks are too large and won’t grab my cordage firmly enough. The holes are quarter inch and my cordage is eighth inch.

Thes toggles are great! I use them on the drawstrings of dice/trinket bags and they do a great job keeping the bags closed.
