Just what I ordered
Unlike the other reviewers I received the correct item. I wanted these plates to add to my current collection. They’re sturdy beautiful plates and are exactly what I ordered

Simply elegant, even if they are considered 'rustic'
I’m delightfully impressed with these. I’ve never had “technoceram” dishes before, but it feels and looks exactly like china, just a tad heavier than I might expect. These are what I would call not a ‘polar white’ but more of a slight cream shade. The rim is brown that looks about like a deep bronze shade. Very rich looking, very elegant. I tried to take a couple of pix but I can’t seem to capture the gorgeous depth these have.I did get 6 plates, about 6.25”, that I would call bread plates. I wouldn’t take a star off for that, because the product listing will likely be combined for all sizes of this pattern, and it’s not unheard-of for Vine to get other items in the same collection/pattern.So far they’ve only been washed once in the dishwasher, but there were no issues. Only once in the microwave as well, but again no issues. I particularly appreciate that the whole plate didn’t get hot. There’s no info I can find about heat resistance, so I wouldn’t try using them directly in an oven for leftover warmups, for example.Normally I wouldn’t mention packaging in a product review, but in this case it’s pertinent because we’ve all had the worry about breakable items – these are packed extremely well, with cardboard between each plate, and a snug box, all wrapped in the thick bubble wrap inside another box.In checking each of the 6 plates I found no faults in the production – no bubbles, mars, glaze faults, or chips. The rim design is purposely rustic, so isn’t supposed to be “evenly applied”. Not sure why I can say these "rustic" dishes are elegant, but they are to me. Very happy with these!I’m good about updating if anything changes or something pops up. Any questions, feel free to comment or email.

Nice Plates but different size and quantity I received
Instead of getting a set of four 8.25" plates, I received six 6.25" plates instead. However, the packaging was done quite nicely with heavy protective bubbles and layers of materials to protect them for shipping. I hope the manufacturer would make note of this to ensure that the correct product is shipped to the customers.Although I received different size plates, I believe the style and quality are similar to the 8.25" plates by comparing them with the product pictures. These plates are made with high quality materials and are dishwasher safe. It seems to be quite durable and is a bit on the heavier side based on the materials used. The painting on the rims are uneven (as also shown in the product pictures) which is done by design. It is a matter of personal preference regarding the appreciation of such design, Recommended for those looking for durable and restaurant quality plates.

8.25" plates would have been great, 6.125" not so much.
Even though these are nice plates and seem to be good quality, for me there’s no way I can give the 6 1/8” plates I received more than 3 stars. Sorry, but if you tell me I’m getting 8.25” plates for salads and/or deserts, then don’t send me 6 1/8” plates which are pretty much just good for butter dishes or some other condiment; even a good sized slice of pie would hang over the edge. If you do, then don’t expect more than 3 stars, no matter the quality. If I can’t use them, then they’re worthless to me. I wish I could return them for the right size, but I can’t because that’s the rules for vine products, and I totally understand that. At least they’re pretty to look at; maybe I can find some coffee cups to match. Now let’s assume unlike me you get the right size, or if not, then you can return them for the right size. If so, then you will love these plates. For that reason I still gave them 3 stars. I’ve washed them multiple times in the dishwasher with no chipping or discoloration. I’ve microwaved them on high and they remained cool, with no cracking. The color is nice and just as pictured. They feel heavy, seem to be well made, quality pieces, and seem like they will be very hard to damage. I'm sure even if I were using them daily, they would last years. As decorations, they'll last till my next move.

Lovely handcrafted look---perfect for dessert or appetizers!
These are lovely little plates! They have a look which is hard to describe or see in a picture, but it makes them look handmade. The brown-gold border is what does it. It's delicately random---it looks like something hand-crafted. Each plate is a little different. The plates are heavy enough to feel substantial, but not so heavy as to be chunky. They are the perfect size for dessert or appetizers.I wash all dishes by hand, so I can't speak to how these do in a dishwasher, but they washed up nicely by hand! I've used them over and over in the time I've had them already. Six is a good size for a set, because I tend to have enough clean at one time to give people matching plates!Subtly fancy everyday dishware is one of life's nicest little treats, and these dishes are a great example!

They’ve grown on me!
When I first saw these, I thought they looked like plates with dirt on the edge. My sister liked them, however, so we decided to try them out. After using them a few months, usually for dessert or breakfast, my sister still likes them and they’ve definitely grown on me. The edge pattern makes them a little more interesting than plain white plates, and turns into a nice border for pieces of cake or semi-freddo with whipped cream and berries…Dishwasher safe and so far durable. They have a nice heft. Stack easily!
