VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ECONOMY DIAGONAL
I already had a premium TeleVue 2" diagonal, but it wouldn't reach focus in my little AT66ED refractor. So I needed a 1.25" diagonal but didn't want to break the bank. I tried a --bony dielectric, but it had a poor coatings (when shining a bright light at a steep angle you could see what looked like runs in a paint job, which is a problem with poorly applied dielectric coatings). So my expectations were low when I ordered this even cheaper diagonal, but I was delighted with it. Images were just as bright as looking straight through without a diagonal. And when you center a star in it and rotate the diagonal 180 degrees the star stays in center so the mirror is collimated (if the star moves away from center the diagonal mirror is mis-aligned). So I am VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ECONOMY DIAGONAL!

Seems well built
I bought a cheap weakseeker 70az used for parts, but after making some minor repairs to it decided to make it a travel telescope for work. The stock diagonal that came with it was horrible (photos for comparison). The quality of viewing was far better than that of the original even with larger aperture eyepieces. I was able to see Jupiter with crystal clarity and no distortion. All around very happy with this diagonal.

Not sure if it was worth the buy
The media could not be loaded. Not sure it was worth the buy... I'm really not a pro at this but it's harder to see the moon.. yet better to see the planets... maybe it's my focus... but can't complain my goal was to see planets!

Decent diagonal, especially for the price
While there are more solid and higher-quality diagonals out there, this gets the job done when all you really need is something to hold an eyepiece. It's mostly plastic, but very solid. Mated perfectly to my Svbony 503. For the price, you can't beat it; I've always appreciated Neewer products.

A Nice Upgrade For A Cheaper Refractor Telescope
TIP: Even though this is a great product, Neewer also makes a good 45 degree diagonal, and I recommend THAT ONE. I have found the 45 degree viewing angle is much more comfortable for all-around use.TIP: Note that this accessory is mainly for refractor telescopes and not reflectors. If your refractor does not already have a diagonal, one of the major advantages of this diagonal is that it will cause the image you see to appear right side up instead of upside down. This is especially helpful for casual or beginning telescope users because the image in the eyepiece will move in the same direction as you are moving the telescope as you scan up and down or left and right. You will probably need to adjust your tripod a little lower than you are used to since you will now be looking down into the eyepiece rather than directly through it into the telescope itself.REVIEW: Even though I have a full sized 8” reflector telescope, much of the time I find myself grabbing my much smaller 70mm refractor telescope for a quick look at the heavens. That smaller scope is a much cheaper piece of equipment. While the optics are reasonably good for the price, it came with a 45° image diagonal that I always suspected was the weak link in the scope’s optical assembly. So I was quick to grab this Neewer diagonal when I saw it at a reasonable price. I was not disappointed, and while the difference was not dramatic I am now definitely getting crisper and sharper views than I was before. One very nice little touch is that the eyepiece is secured in place by a brass collar rather than by the tightening screw itself, so you don’t need to worry about scratching the barrels of your good eyepieces. Neewer has done it again, providing a good quality product at a very reasonable price.

sturdy - functional - and easy to 'install'
In dealing with a telescope, one of the 'problems' that people don't often consider is that the image you are looking at is typically inverted. Looking at planets - inverted is not a problem. Looking at a terrestrial target, you do notice that it appears upside down. In fact, there are whole product lines called 'terrestrial' elements that will invert the image. That is what this is - a terrestrial mirror. In addition to flipping the image, it also allows you to view the images without having to be 'in line' with the telescope. To be honest, looking thru a telescope is a pain in the back! This allows you to 'look' through the telescope from a 90 degree angle to where the telescope is pointing. So what it is? This is a mirror - positioned on hard plastic with a plastic eyepiece hole and a metal mounting collar attached to it. It is as simple as it sounds.Being simple does not mean that they didn't make this sturdy and able to be used for a longer period of time. This gets the 5 stars for being sturdy - functional and the ability to use it on the telescope easily.

Nice diagonal for the price
This is a nicely made, simple diagonal at a decent price. I was buying this to replace the OEM one that came with my Celestron Edge HD that I'd been unable to locate for over a year...and which I inconveniently found days after this order arrived. None the less, I'll keep this one on the side as the spare. I do a lot of public outreach with my astronomy group so I'm sure it'll come in handy at some point to loan or give to someone else etc, or if I manage to misplace my original again. Can you buy nicer diagonals? Sure...but at this price? I don't think so. No complaints, no nits.

Improvement over beginner optics in my starter telescope!
So I am by no means am expert with my telescope but I'm pretty good with it. It's a simple 70cm refractor, nothing fancy at all.Up until now I'd only been using the default optics that came with it. So switching out to this was an interesting experiment for me! And I must say that there's a definite improvement!Switching it out was easy and the 1.25 inch fittings all slid together with no issues. This is definitely something I'd recommend taking a look into (no pun intended..) if you're looking to upgrade your telescope!

Good basic diagonal
I have this on my finder scope for now. It's end location will be on my 60mm grab-n-go refractor when I'm finished building it. It's a big improvement over a cheap diagonal I bought which used a rear-coated mirror O_o

Optische Leistung passt
