The color is richly pigmented and vibrant. It lasts forever depending on how often you wash your hair. The colors fade out to beautiful colors too!

This did not provide any color to my hair. I bleached my hair because my hair is naturally dark and I knew it would not take. However, even with bleaching my hair, not one bit of color took. I am glad I had a back up plan.

I fell in love with desert rose the moment I saw it but after trying it, I was a bit disappointed. Desert rose is a super pretty color (purplish-gray-mauve) but you probably need platinum blonde hair for this to work. The purple and blues from the Sparks hair line works well on brown hair but unfortunately, with desert rose, it does not have the same penetration or staying power. I should have noted that it is marketed as a "tint" rather than assume it was a dye. I'm hoping to figure the right mixture ratio using their other colors to recreate a more robust version of this. The worse dye ever. I will never buy again. It barely took and the mermaid blue looked like a slight green tint. The other color just didnt show at all

Left no color. Terrible. Severely disappointed.

Severely disappointed. I have used Sparks hair color for a little over a year now (purple passion and red raspberry) and have always had super vibrant and long lasting color (only having to redo it because of roots growing out, never a fading issue). However, this color barely even showed on my test section when I applied it. When I rinsed, there was literally no visible difference.I understand that it's a more subdue color than the others, but my hair has zero tint of lavender to it. I know it's a new line for them, but sadly it apparently needs more testing.
