GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I’ve been using my BLAIDS hearing aids for several months now, and couldn’t be more satisfied. These are not simple hearing amplifiers, but, rather, professional quality hearing aids at a fraction of what you might spend for anything comparable. They produce a clear, accurate sound, with absolutely no background noise, and can be fine tuned, through the app, for varying conditions, such as volume, bass, treble, and frequency, within each of the four operating modes. I particularly enjoy the fact that I can now watch TV without disturbing my wife, and she equally enjoys that as well.Voices, whether in a crowd, or one on one, are absolutely clear, and I find that I have almost completely eliminated the phrase “What did you say?” from my vocabulary. The only thing that I was concerned about, was the lack of connectivity to my iPhone for streaming music or making calls. However, that is no longer an issue because I found that the ear pieces are small enough to allow me to use my air pods at the same time I’m wearing the BLAIDS hearing aids, making telephone conversations even clearer than ever before. One additional factor that I consider to be critical, is the incredible customer support.Calls to the company are actually answered personally, 7 days a week. And any questions or concerns are immediately addressed and resolved. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to both Brian and Emet, both of whom are completely knowledgeable and make you feel as though you have a friend at the factory, so to speak.I can honestly say that these hearing aids have changed the quality of my life, including just being able to enjoy the sounds of birds on a peaceful morning. I didn’t even realize that there were so many of them!I can’t say enough, other than to add if you are thinking about getting a pair of BLAIDS hearing aids, stop thinking- get them. Like me, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Battery Issues
Overall a decent product, but the batteries barely last 3-4 days, even though they're supposed to last 6-7 days. Company support is excellent - they even sent a second pair to test the batteries, but the second pair was no better.A much better design would be rechargeable, where they should last around 20 hours, but since you recharge them every day they would never run out of charge. I'm buying 60 packs of Duracell batteries now, which is about a 3 month supply.Sad, as the product is good, and the app to set the hearing aids is excellent.***UPDATE***Unfortunately after working with the company for awhile and not getting any improvement, they promised to send out a new pair that was rechargeable, but they never did, so I'm dropping my rating to one star. They also developed a loud feedback when on a volume above 6, but my father can't hear with a lower setting. They've essentially become useless.

Amazingly Good!
Very impressive. I have hearing loss in only one ear. This hearing aid compares well to aids that have cost me 10 times the price. If you use the app to configure in a truly quiet environment, such as a car (turned off) in a garage, it does a great job setting up in less than 15 minutes. The pro adjustments are great for fine tuning for users who want a little customization. The only difference I noticed was that lack of ability to shift frequencies. Some very expensive aids can take a sound from the frequency with acute loss and shift it slightly to fill in. But it took me hours of testing to even find that difference - it was not perceptible when talking to friends or listening to music.I would highly recommend giving these a try.

Seems to be a good unit but returned
The hearing aids seem to work and the self administered test is quite easy to do and matches other tests. After selecting the correct tips they were very comfortable to wear all day, I forgot I had them on. However, I didn't notice any improvement in my hearing and they tended to amplify high pitched sounds which was mildly annoying so I returned them. For people with more serious hearing loss I'd say they're worth a try though.
