Good purchase.
Fits the Holley carb well. light weight. Been in service 3 years now, no rust, still looks good. Has a fairly low profile. Misfires will tend to a blow/melt a hole through the lightweight foam filter material, so best get to get some spare 1099 filter elements at the same time. Top mesh is stainless, bottom case is chrome-plated steel. Comes complete with the metal bridge to bolt onto the central bolt of the carburettor.

Worked for my foxbody
This filter worked for me 347 stroker powered foxbody with the stock hood, it was just small enough to clearance the hood with a carburetor, recommended if you have no other options or want something simple, so far so good!
