Fantastic quality
The time had come for me to update my old wallet that had seen better days. I really liked the look of this one and in particular, it had enough slots to store the amount of cards that I have.On receiving the wallet, it is really well presented in a nice gift box. On opening it, you instantly get an aroma of that real leather smell. The look and feel of this wallet is something that is of high quality. It is very well crafted and stitched together. There are 8 main card slots for you to store all your cards, which is generally plenty for most people. In addition, there is a central compartment for you to store other items like stamps or maybe a bit of paper notes cash.On initial use, you get that real stiffness and resistance when trying put cards in and take them out. However, this does loosen up over a short period and I find now that it is much easier to use. For your main banking card, there is a dedicated slot has a thumbhole cut at the bottom, so that you can push it up to retrieve it more easily. I think that this is a great idea and a great feature. The wallet or more card holder, is very slim-line in design and will fit nicely into your pocket and you hardly notice that you have it on you.Given the neutral design and colour, this would be suitable for use by either a male or female. One of the best things about this wallet/card holder is that it has Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) protection built into it, which basically means that it blocks radio waves to stop anyone from trying to scan your contactless cards to stop unauthorised purchases and/or copying of your cards details. This product is great as something to purchase for yourself, as I did, as a replacement to an existing card holder. But equally, this would make a great gift for someone, as it is really well presented and made and gives an impression that it is more expensive than it actually is.I highly recommend this card holder and would definitely purchase this again in future.

Very tight fit if using lots of cards
I ordered this thinking that it was a bifold wallet and not a double sided card holder. This is fairly common nowadays so I should have noticed this.It arrived well presented and in a gift case. The wallet itself is made from upcycled leather and looks smart but the slots are very tight and I struggled with 3 cards each side. Even with the finger hole on one side to assist getting the front card out, It is only possible for me to take out cards, if done in order i.e. taking the back one first then finishing with the front one which is not good for security at all having to take three cards out of the wallet to pay for something. For the person that likes minimalism, then this would probably suit. I currently use a bifold wallet that is literally falling apart. It does spend most of its life buried in a rucksack with other items such as hard drives, cables, phones etc. which I assume does not help it. This I believe is likely to get more damaged or worse, the cards themselves get damaged. The only upside is that the 3 larger pockets will accommodate easily my cards (which I can keep in individual RFID wallets), so I am going to give it a go as the cards will be protected somewhat and perhaps use the back facing slot for a frequently used credit card. This might work for me but it is not what it is intended for. I will update here if this is problematic. At £22.99 it represents reasonable value, but for me, it would benefit from slightly larger card slot sizes.

Quality little wallet
This little wallet arrives nicely presented in a branded cardboard box giving a quality first impression, and ideally packaged for gifting. The wallet itself holds about six cards in individual pockets with a further central pocket for either bank notes or another card. However, it is quite hard (almost impossible, in fact) to squeeze six cards into the pockets and even harder to take them out again. I am dubious about the RFID protection as well - I would have thought that for this to work properly, the whole card - or at least the whole of the RFID tag - would need to be secured within the wallet, it's quite easy to put cards back in the wrong way without thinking, leaving the tag vulnerable. As this is made of plastic, I think that it's incredibly overpriced at £22.99 for what is in effect just a part of a wallet. There are far, far better options available at lower prices (leather or otherwise, depending on your feelings towards the leather industry). This is definitely one to avoid, despite the initial positive impression.

Feels like nice quality, nicely presented too... but just too tight.
The video goes into much more detail, including a demo of what it's like to get cards in and out. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Feels like a nice wallet compared to other plastic or metal card-only wallets.+ It is fairly slim, about 12mm thick when filled with 4 cards.+ Happy to have a little pouch for cash, hope I'm not tempted to fill it with receipts!Things I didn't like:- Far, far, far too tight. Any more than 3 cards in the slots and it's a real struggle to get cards in and out.- Can't help feeling like I've received half a wallet!Do I recommend it?Not really. The last thing you want when you're out and wanting to pay for something is to not be able to get your card out of your wallet. If you really like the design and you only plan to use it for 2-3 cards, fine. But any more than that and you might want to take a pair of pliers around with you too.

Packaged beautifully, but split when used.
Oh dear - I really wanted to like this little wallet, but it just wasn't fit for purpose. On the plus side, it came beautifully presented and wrapped in tissue paper in a little box - it looked like it would make a special gift for someone. It had spaces for 3 cards on each side, and a gap in the middle for another card or maybe a couple of notes. It fit nicely into my hand, it looked good and the leather finish felt nice.So far, so good. However, in practical terms, the pockets for the cards were so tight that it was difficult to get the cards out once they were in. I would imagine it would be particularly hard for someone with less dexterity in their fingers (for example, my 86-year-old Dad). Although you don't want the cards to fit loosely, you certainly need to be able to get them out quickly and smoothly when you want to pay for something. I was thinking that maybe the pockets would loosen up a bit with use, but after a couple of attempts to get the cards out and in again, the pocket split. It's such a shame. My hopes were so high when I saw this little wallet, but it just doesn't do what it should. I've given it two stars because the packaging was impressive, but sadly that is all...
