We have a corded heat gun, which is great but sometimes difficult to stretch the cord to where you need it. This awesome gadget has 2 batteries and you don't have to worry about fighting with the cord. The only complaint I have with this heat gun is that it doesn't get as hot as the corded one we have. The corded one will burn your fingers off if you are not careful. This one does not get hot enough to do that. All in all I don't regret purchase, I would buy it again. It's reasonably priced, comes with a bunch of different attachments for it, charging cord, and 2 batteries. Not bad. I would recommend this heat gun if you are looking for a cordless heat gun.

Purchased as a christmas gift for a candle maker. Upon completion of the first charge of the batteries have found the heat gun only runs for a short period befor one has to disconect the batt from the gun and re attatch to re start the gun. Outside of the 30 day warranty this stuck with this, more than likey will find its way to the wall of shame in my shop. Would not recomend this product.

We got tired of pulling an extension cord on the roof for a 30 second job, so we wanted to find a cordless option. As you know, generating heat takes a LOT of power so I'm glad they gave us 2 batteries, because if you are generating heat constantly you will need both of them. Don't expect performance like a corded tool - remember this is for small, quick, mobile tasks not melting the ice dam off your roof. We use it for heating up asphalt shingles so we can pry them up a bit to replace a broken heat tape clip.

We don't even use this every day, we just used it a few times but it stopped working after not even a month! Dont waste your money , get something else !

Used to apply shrink tubing. Heats up quickly and works well.
