Q: What is the Weight of this yoga mat?

I don't know the exact weight. Feels like the same as other mats, etc. This was my first yoga mat ever. I'm very pleased with it. I'm not sure what makes a "good" mat from a "bad" one, but this stays put on the floor, cleans easily and rolls up nicely.

Q: Why does it say tpe and say material is made of rubber? tpe is plastic

I don’t know what it is made of. It’s foam but it doesn’t smell like rubber so it might be plastic..I like it though.. whatever it is made out of.

Q: Does it peel or shred when used often?

I’ve been using this mat for 10 months (3 times per week), but no damage at all.

Q: Can you put this in the washing machine to clean it? If not, how do you clean it?

I don’t put it in the washer. You can clean it once a week or ever time you use it. I clean it every time because I sweat a lot during workouts. I use the spray cleaner provided by the gym I go to. I spray it onto a paper towel and wipe it down. You can make your own cleaner though with vinegar, some essential oil, and some baking soda. Or you can mix some dish soap with water in a bowl and take a rag, dip it, and wipe down the dirty spots. The gym cleaners don’t affect the quality of the yoga mat at all, even when used over time. Just don’t completely soak the mat in them.
