Works Very Well for Germinating Seeds. Does Not get too Hot, but warm enough to heat soil gently.

Ok so things awesome. I was a little frustrated at first because it didn’t want to lay flat and kept rolling up, but when I turned the power on and it heated up then I guess the plastic got a little softer and laid flat. I bought some seeding trays on here as well and planted my starter seeds about a week ago and they are already germinating!!!! So this thing speeds that up quite a bit. I’m very happy with the purchase!

Like the size but the plastic casing is very stiff and the temperature needs to get higher. Hope it will get better with different containers of different materials. Not cheap either.

This is the second 20 x 48 mat of this brand (have 4 20x12s)- first large one continues to work fine but this one, with hardly 50 hours of use has died- very disappointing! While the attractiveness of this brand is the mat lies nice and flat compared to others - it ruined two crops by the time I realized the mat was the issue and not the seeds! The thermostat works fine and confirmed that electrical wire has juice flowing to the mat- but it remains stone cold! This is depressing as I’ve missed the return window!

This mat is great. It let's me heat 4 full trays of my plants. It was running around 108 degrees so I purchased a thermostat control to keep it under a specified temp so I don't bake my seedlings. Very happy with my purchase.

Works great

I think I get about 30 degrees above surrounding temperature. It works good to warm the soil for seed germination and faster growth in the early months of the year while it's still cold outside. I use it in my greenhouse. What I like about it is it uses very little energy for what it does compared to most heaters.

This mat has been used for several months now waiting for the weather to warm here in the Northwest. It has held up well and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good heating mat for starting seedlings.
