Matcha Hydrating Facial Toner 200ml (200ml)

The ingredients on it were really nice, with calming and hydrating ingredients like centella and glycerin, but I did worry as my skin is not fond of hyaluronic acid of any form I also saw it had straight up alcohol, which I'm assuming is rubbing alcohol, so I stopped using the product. Before I did, it was light weight and easy to apply, had no smell, and absorbed easily.

This toner is very nice. It’s gentle on my skin and feels like silky water in my hands. It doesn’t have much of a scent. Sometimes I’ll use my pore cleanser wipes first which can be drying and then apply this next to keep my skin hydrated. Most toners dry out my skin, but this one keeps me looking hydrated and actually tightens my skin.

This matcha toner is very gentle and hydrating. It is also unscented, which I personally prefer. The toner is clear and goes on easily. It does not dry out but rather leaves a dewy sticky feel to the touch after it has been applied. I usually wait a couple of minutes after I applied the toner before I add a layer of moisturizer. With this toner, I can just wear it alone on humid days when I do not need the extra moisturizing benefits of a face cream. What I don't like about this toner is how it is dispensed. It is a clear plastic bottle and there's just a small hole that you squeeze the toner out of. I would rather have a spray for toners, especially since this toner is on the watery side. I like this toner as it is very moisturizing and gentle.

Clear instructions on the bottle. I was worried about the matcha fragrance, but this has a very light aromatic tea scent that is pretty faint, but pleasant. It says to shake it in case there are tea particles settled out, but it was perfectly clear. I applied it after washing my face with Dove beauty bar. My face felt cleaner and my skin started feeling a little bit tighter. It's gentle and non-irritating. I recommend it.

This leaves a sticky residue and I couldn’t stand it, I had to wash it off within 5 minutes because it didnt absorb into the skin or dried out.

This toner looks and feels like water on skin during application. It doesn’t cause my sensitive combination skin to breakout, but I find it not very hydrating. May need to reapply many times a day in a spray bottle for it to give more hydration to skin. I do like that it’s in a neat bottle and that it barely has any smell which works for my allergenic nose. Will continue use to see if it helps with skin hydration in the long run and update if it does.
