I will absolutely continue buying this brand for the price. I read that some say they smelled bad but I did not notice anything bad, just the typical new rubber smell.For the price, you cannot go wrong.

Good value. But they do smell like car tires. I left them on the patio overnight & it’s better.

I have a small setup in my basement which has a concrete floor. I wanted plates with rubber coating so that my concrete would get as little damage as possible. These were perfect. I got 10lb, 25lb, and 45 lb weights to start. Seem very durable, I'm able to get a good workout and I love them so far!

The weights themselves are fantastic for the price, however the smell that they give off is unbearable and makes me regret buying them.When I initially opened the box, I literally thought someone started smoking a cigar in the house, and after a month of them being out of the box, I can still slightly smell them when I enter my gym, which is in our furnace room.I may be a bit more sensitive to the smell than some people, but they absolutely smell terrible for more than the 2-3 days mentioned even after been outside for a week.

These are high quality, BUT they will off gas like crazy for several weeks. Clean them with dish soap and keep them outside until they finish off gassing.
