for home massage
got this set of âface down pillowâ for home back massages. between me and the wife, we take turns in giving one to the other. this set enables us lay facing down! i couldnât last 10 minutes with head turned to the side because it hurts my neck. not with this pillow set. once, i actually fell asleep!! i like that the set includes a pillow to elevate the chest so the angle from the head to my waist is made gradual and not steep. this definitely will last along time for us as the frame is made of wood. perfect for doing cupping for pain relief too!

Not the most comfortable if you are on for any extended period of time
My husband recently had vitrectomy surgery, and I purchased four face down pillows for him to try. This pillow is the one that I thought he would like the most, and it got about 30 seconds worth of trying out. Although it is very sturdy, the wood, even with the pillow on it, is not very comfortable for anything more than one or two minutes of use. Thankfully Amazon has a wonderful return policy, and I was able to return it. If you are looking for a good face down pillow, look for the one that has the three pillow supports (on the side and in front).

Perfect for stomach sleepers!
I love to sleep on my stomach, and have been searching for a pillow that would allow me to breathe while face down, but didn't have any luck in finding one until I found this pillow. This product needs assembly which I didn't know before purchase but it was really easy to follow the directions to assemble it. There are two pillows, - one for the face and the other, for the chest. I couldn't wait to try it out once assembled even though it said to wait for 48 hours for the memory foams in the pillow to fluff out completely. But, I am happy to report that I found this very comfortable in sleeping face down. I could breathe easily even on my soft bed and it didn't feel claustrophobic.I like the fact that the heights of both the front and the back of the face pillow are adjustable. I used it with the chest pillow, and the combination really is comfortable.I deducted one star because of the price ($63.99 at the time of this review). The right price in my opinion should not be more than $40.
