Very compact and light weight
As soon as I got this I put in to the test against a fence post and it did well. I really like that's cordless, very light, and easy to handle.I love the idea of it having a led light that turns on when the cutoff wheel is activated and overall like the thoughtfulness that went into the design.1 thing I wish was different, I don't like the idea of having the tool that attaches the cutoff wheel not be integrated into the tool itself, or at least have a spot to attach it tool. This is particularly important since it doesn't come with a carry case so it would be very easy for the tool used to attach the blade to get misplaced. I understand its a standard Allen wrench, but I love just being able to grab the tool I want to use and not have to worry about those details. You get 3 different cutting disc, I used the metal cutting disk and it did well against a piece of fence post before running out of battery.5 stars, a nice compact cutting tool that includes all you need to get started, I just wish it had a case.

Works well and nice quality, but QC needs to be better.
First of all, I'm giving this saw only 4 stars due to quality control. I had to send back my first one due to the work light not working and the motor sounding rough. But, with the replacement, it works well and this is really a nice saw. It isn't ins tended for large projects, but for trim work and smaller projects, it will work nice. I love the fact it has a blade lock for installing and removing the blade. I wish all the companies did that on their circular saws. This will be a nice replacement for my old 14v saw. It is getting difficult to find batteries. And I only have one and it is dying. Plus this saw is lighter. The battery charges fast. Not a fan of the charger, it isn't a base like all my other chargers, it is just a module you put on top of the battery to charge. Not a big deal, it is just personal preference.

Another nice tool from Greenworks
I've been loving the tools that Greenworks have been producing and this saw is another tool in my toolbox. It's super light weight compared to my old plug-in saw. The best thing is that the battery is interchangeable with my other Greenworks tools and it does not take long to recharge

a compact powerhouse
1st off... this is 3" of fury.... but it is only 3" and can only cut about an inch deep (24.5mm ish to you metric folks) not sure of exact depth but something to that effect. It comes with 1 battery... 1 diamond blade for tile and masonry. ... 1 friction blade for metal aka cut off blade... 1 drywall and plastic blade that I think is carbide chips on it.In a nutshell just enough to get your project started....order more blades of the size you think you will need. The metal cutting ones go fast the others last a good while. The blade has a braking system and stops smoothly but abruptly when the trigger is released.Oh before I forget... the included Allen (hex) wrench fits great for blade changing... keep in mind the screw is LEFT HAND THREADED and you will need to go opposite of 99% of bolts out there to loosen and tighten it. If you look closely it shows a directional arrow that explains this.Anyhow except for having to wait between charges cause only one battery this is great especially if one follows the prescribed concept of pick a brand of cordless and stick with it so allmost all batteries are interchangeable. Because I have yet to find brands that share batteries. All in all if you need is this tool it will do the job pretty well for the homeowner.

Small but mighty!
This saw is perfect for me! I don’t have a lot of space, so its compact design is a real plus for me. Since I can’t carry heavy things for long periods of time, I love how lightweight it is. Even with its small size, it does everything I need it to do and does it well! It cut through a wood plank with ease! I also like that it’s battery operated because I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet or an extension cord just to use it. The battery lasts for a pretty long time and when I’m done with my project, I just put the battery back on the charger so it’s ready for its next use. It doesn’t come with a carrying case, but that’s no big deal because I can just keep it in the box it came in to keep all the parts together.

For Jobs Greater Than A Hand Tool and Less Than An Angle Grinder
This mini cutoff tool works great for a quick cut where grabbing a power saw or angle grinder is overkill or more hassle than it's worth! This tool allows me to make quick cuts through all type of materials without extension cords and heavy equipment. It packs a lot of power in a small tool and is not obnoxiously loud or heavy. Great addition to any power tool collection!
