Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets - 3 Boxes

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and ate these growing up. Taste just like I remember.

Longtime family favorite! Cannot find in most grocery stores outside of the Philadelphia region.

Really missed these out on the west coast. Froze 2 boxes and they still barely lasted 2 weeks.

I suppose having grown up on the longer three pack wrapped in wax paper I’m pretty bias and have expectations. My palate for these is pretty right on as I’ve been enjoying them for decades, so stale and overly firm product is a bummer, these have been on the shelf for awhile.

Things never seem to taste as good as I remember. Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets come close, but not quite.Originally, the packs had three cupcakes. Same for chocolate, jelly filled and the others. Packaging only 2 saves money. Times change.Probably the preservatives and not getting the cakes the same day they are baked reduces flavor. The Tastykake truck used to pull up to our neighborhood grocery and we couldn’t get much fresher. Times change, but these are acceptable.
