A must for frequent travelers who like to work on planes. Don't understand how people work on planes exposing incredibly private and confidential information to totally random people. This is a great solution, see pictures of the same screen from the front and the side. Fits perfectly on the screen, you can barely see the stickers holding on the screen and for the price is a huge deal!

Yes, it does dim the screen a bit but that is unavoidable with this kind of materials tech, and while I would not try to do production color editing on it with the screen in place, it DOES very effectively block views from an angle. I am not sure it would fully do the job for someone sitting next to you on a plane, but I just use it because my job sometimes has me looking at data that is not for general public consumption and it stops that from being exposed pretty effectively. I use the clear tab mounting so I can remove it if I want to, and yes you can see them - fully invisible materials are not a thing yet :) but I find that I don't even notice either the tabs or the notch after using it for 3 days. BTW it looks like garbage because of my poor phone camera... IRL it looks a bit better. Also - the marked lines represent a 60 degree arc so you can see it ALMOST darkens the whole screen at that angle but if you go even a tiny bit further than I did in the video it looks like the screen is off.

It has good anti-glare functionality as it described. People sitting next to you in a meeting can't perceive contents on your screen. In addition, it doesn't reduce much brightness, which is better than the other anti-glare protectors I used.

Love this privacy screen. It's good quality and has been working great for me all week.When sitting in close quarters (side by side on an airplane, for instance), the person next to you can see about half the screen. For optimal privacy, you should turn the brightness of your screen down until you can't see it, then back up one notch. This will ensure supreme security. They will be able to see vague outlines, but will be unable to read anything.I love this screen for the ease of use. I used the tabs to fasten, which makes it very easy - when I don't want to use it, I can slide it out no problem, and slide it back in when I do want it. Takes about two seconds! The tabs are clear, so I barely notice them. I also appreciate that it came with two sets of tabs - my hand slipped and I misapplied one of them, but they had sent a backup set so I could just use a new one! Little convenience things like that make me appreciate the company more.Definitely would buy from this seller and purchase this product again.

I have Flex 5 (no edges), so this is a perfect fit.We first got another product from Akamai, which was for screens with edges and it didn't fit. Akamai contacted us first how we like the other product, and when I raised a concern on how the tabs didn't quite work due to no edges, they told me about this product. I didn't even know they carried one specific for all glass screen. They offered to return the other product so I could get this one.This screen filter just sticks on perfectly & smoothly, like a magnet sheet. It also is an easy off. I don't think I will need to take it off, but if I ever do, I know it'll just come off easy.It kind of feels like those screen protectors for smart phones, but it goes on much smoother (no bubbles) and goes off easy (not having to worry about damaging the filter).As far as privacy is concerned, it does what it should do. You have to be sitting right in front of it in order to see your screen.I would give 10 stars for the quality of the product & Akamai's customer service.

Take a look at the photo & video I provided and you'll see if I were seated on an airplane, the person sitting next to me could read my screen and probably even someone two seats to my left. Unfortunately, I have no confidence that this screen will reduce the likelihood someone can see what's on my screen.

Great privacy screen for your computer. I have a touch screen laptop and was a little hesitant about getting it. But it still works great and keeps snooping eyes off of the screen. Perfect

I travel a lot and wanted something that would help block the view of others to see my laptop screen especially on a plane. It works perfectly! I installed it so that I can slide the screen on and off which is helpful when I DO want someone to see my screen.

I bought this not to have my classmates seeing what I'm doing during lectures. Truth is it works in a too wide rage; it should be 45 degrees or less. You need to be literally next to someone for this to work because if you are diagonal or anywhere in front of them, they can still see.It also decreased brightness but other than that I forget I have it because it blend in perfectly. There are 2 ways to install it and I chose the one with little stickers on the side so that if I change my computer and the new one has the same screen size I can re-use it. They even give you extra stickers, I'm guessing for that reason.This product isn't what I expected and is far from perfect but it does what it promises to do outside the 60 degrees.

I was expecting the screen to be basically blank when viewed from about 45 degrees from perpendicular to the screen. It only makes the screen really dark so whilst you can't read the words on the screen, you still get an idea of what is being looked at. Even at extreme angles to the screen, you can still make out shapes on the screen so it does not make your screen completed private.

Using a Surface Pro meant i needed something that worked with a totally flat screen. This came with little sticky pads which work well. Its also comes with the alternate fittings for a traditional laptop screen - these enable the cover to be slid in and out which isnt possible on a tablet style fitting.

Delivered very quickly and does exactly what I wanted. The viewing angle is perhaps a little wider than I might like but I think that is the case with most of these screens. If someone comes up behind you they will be able to see the screen (although it is darker than normal), but it completely hides it from people next to you, which is the main point. I can now work on the train and client offices knowing that confidential information on screen is not visible to one and all.

This is perfect for laptop privacy for train travel with complete privacy from side view. Enclosed in my order were some double sided sticky labels which i used two for both top corners of the privacy screen to keep it attached to my laptop and it is strong enough to hold it in place too and you can also easily remove and replace the screen when needed. Would definitely recommend this product.
