We got this Floraveil back brace for light use around the house and garden, and also to help give a little support at times when experiencing mild lower back pain.It smelled a little rubbery when opening the package, so we hung it on the screened porch to air out. After 14 days, it still has odor but it is slightly better. If you are a person who is sensitive to chemical odors and want to wear this product anytime soon, you need to be aware of this situation. That is why we deducted one star.It was tried it on by three people, all with size 30 to 32 waists. Two of the models weigh about 130 lbs. and one weighs 115 lbs. In the photos above, you can see two of the models and how the back brace is used.The brace seems to be of heavy-duty quality, and it gives good support while still being comfortable. It does not appear to slip and stayed in place while walking around for about 15 minutes. It has not been used yet for any heavy work, just for support around the home.It measures 39.5 x 9", so make sure to check your own measurements before purchasing this product.

This belt has been my saving grace. I'm very active taking care of my elderly disabled dad. I suffered back injuries over 20 years ago. Two back surgeries later I still have pain. The belt fits great and helps with that pain by giving my back the support it needs. It's adjustable for more or less pressure when I need it. Great quality and a great value fir the price.

I got this brace to aid in supporting my core muscles while rebuilding strength. I really appreciate how the main brace is so stretchy and supportive--it stretches to conform, but doesn't overstretch, so I haven't encountered any loosening, and I haven't had any issues with accidentally going too tight, either. It's pretty stiff, so I still enlist my partner's help when putting the main piece on!The secondary strap is a great addition, because you can strap it down lower if you need--like to stabilize your SI joint, or hips, or lower back. It's much easier to adjust how you need it, and to readjust when necessary.I haven't encountered any problems with itching or scratching from the velcro, and I haven't experienced any overheating or skin irritation. I recommend this supportive brace as an aide (not a permanent crutch)
