Water resistant and low fume, ok for animals
We used this Tung oil to treat some wooden chicken coop boxes. We oiled the wood and let it thoroughly dry. We live in SWFL - it did take a few days to fully dry due to the humidity. Once the smell had dissipated we assembled the boxes.Overall the oil was thin and lower fume than most other oils and left the wood looking natural. It was easy to clean up. We applied with stain sponges.I recommend using Tung oil if you are treating wood that may be exposed to the elements and may also be using the wood around kids or animals.

Expensive, but this is a good solution for food grade scenarios
I made my own kitchen countertop by joining three sections of old floor joist together, but I needed a way to seal it that would be safe for food, and I found this solution online. It was very easy to use and leaves a really nice finish. My only qualms are that this has a strong smell even half a year later, and also it is very expensive, but this was still cheaper than other sellers, so I guess I shouldn't complain!

Follow directions to avoid 'pooling'
I requested the Aresinfor 32 oz 100% Pure Tung Oil for Wood Finishing to apply on the floor of a wooden aquarium cabinet. The idea is to protect the cabinet floor shold, God forbid, a disasterous event involving water ever occur. You'll want to apply the oil liberally, and then, comeback with a lint-free cloth to absorb any excess. Failing to do so leaves the excess to harden and deters from the overall aesthetic of the wood. The product easily met my expectations.

Hooked on tung!
Never used before but been seeing many videos of people using it. Love its luster and I’m even using it on some leather items I own with great results though it does make leather darker. On wood, it shows the grains true beauty.

Product failure
When I received this it was only half full and the seal was broken. This evidently was a product that was returned to Amazon or was defective from the manufacturer. Don't buy this!
