We love this little bird hut! The natural shape and color are fantastic! Plus, I like that it's super lightweight. We recently planted a small, flowering tree and it's light enough to hang from it. Comes with a very sturdy handle to hang it, and the opening is the perfect size for sparrows and other small birds to enter. Now all we need are the birds to move in...and we're all set :-)

these are not high dollar bird huts. but they definitely were perfect for our needs. I put them out on the porch and already have birds nests in them.

This little bird hut is so cute. The hut itself seems to be well-made/woven, and if good material, but the burlap string that it was to be hung with broke after about two weeks of being outdoors. No problem because I just put a zip tie on it and hung it back up in the tree. But, I would not recommend depending on that twine if you were going to be using it as the only way to hold it to a branch. It rots too quickly.

We have a king snake in the area and I have seen it looking for nests and eggs. I took a hint from the hummingbirds. They make nests on limbs that can't hold a snake. Once we changed the location, the finch showed an interest and did make a nest. The nest has been hanging for 2 1/2 years and, although dusty, has held up unbelievably well. We live in the Sonoran Desert, so the lack of rain or snow has helped preserve it.

I like that the zebra finches like it might moved right in the next morning! I didn't like that it was a little difficult to hang in cage, had to cut rope to tie it to cage roof

I bought these nests for my zebra finches, who moved in within minutes of installation. They quickly lined it with nesting material, and have already laid their first eggs in the nest. The only problem I’ve had is with the rope loop that serves as a hanging mechanism. The birds love to use the rope fiber as nesting material and picked away at it until the nest fell. I fixed it up with some fishing line and a sewing needle to re-hang it and all is well. These nests also make a great hideaway and chew toy for budgies, cockatiels, and conures, as a bonus. I put the extra nest in a cage with five budgies and it was essentially destroyed within two weeks.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a wonderful gift for the little birds who keep visiting my backyard porch. Once I hung this up, they come during the day & they even come to rest for the night inside this bird hut. Planning to buy more to hang in my backyard.

I gave my finches 2 of these and they immediately started building nests in them. =)
