This is a review and comparison of two external chargers I purchased at the same time. At that point, the Haidue was dead, would not take a charge and is still non- functional.The RavPower is much the opposite. It is very powerful and have great capacity. It is very fast, charging a dead battery on a Samsung S5 in under two hours, much faster than the A/C powered Samsung smart charger. I have fully charged my phone 3 times and still had reserve in the RavPower charger.

I love that this product gets me approximately 3 charges for my Samsung Galaxy S4. I would say my only issues with this product is that it seems to take a bit longer than average to charge my phone, which, if I really need it charged is not that bad. My biggest issue is how long it takes to charge the actual Powerbank itself. I have to leave it charging for at least 6 hours. Personally that charge time is the only reason I am giving this product 3 stars.After using this for a tad longer the charges got harder and harder. Until the charging aspect of this device completely broke. Not only did it take forever to charge, it now will not charge at all. Complete waste of money.

This thing is no joke. This charger powers up quick. It powered my husband's Samsung Galaxy and my LG G3 phone and still has juice left in it for several more charges. This will be great to take with us on trips and when we know we'll be using phone for pictures, downloads and everything else that drains the battery. We don't have to worry now. We'll have extra charging capabilities! It is fantastic and would highly recommend it

Haidue offers an excellent charger that will get your cell phone back in operation in a hurry.On removing the charger from its substantial box, I used the included cable to recharge it from my computer. There are LED lights that show you (from 1-4) the amount of power left in the charger. Mine registered three lights. After 1 ½ hours it registered full charge (four lights).I had allowed my cell phone to almost completely discharge so I would be able to test this charger. I had less than 10% battery left when I attached it to the Haidue charger. In just over an hour, it was fully recharged and ready to go. That's a much faster recharge than happens when I use the recharger included with the phone. It also works with my iPad, and it's still very fast. Recharging both the cell phone and tablet brought my lights to down to three, so I had used about 40% of the available power.I love the champagne color of this charger (nice to have a beautiful change from black). It's small enough to fit in my purse for instant recharging but weighs a substantial 9.3 ounces, so I probably won't be carrying it around every day. It offers a flash light with three levels, medium, bright, and flashing, which could be very helpful in an emergency.I have a suggestion regarding the packaging. The box it comes in is very solid with a magnetic closure; however, for reasons not clear to me, the foam insert that holds the charger was sloppily wrapped with a gold satin cloth that was not attached to anything. It had bunched up and looked very sad indeed. This charger would make a great gift, but before I gave it to anyone, I'd discard the satin wrap and leave the charger in its foam enclosure.Overall, this is a fine charger that I'm very pleased to have for charging my cell phone and tablet.FIVE STARS!Sample provided for review

does not work after only a couple of months

This battery charger is yet another 10,000mAh battery pack on the market. Two USB ports, flashlight, nothing out of the ordinary.Well, at least until you compare it to other units available on the market that is.Most other battery packs have a dedicated 2.1A tablet port; this one can deliver 2.1A on either port, so you don't have to squint to figure out which one is the fast charge port. They're also bigger and heavier; my other 10,000mAh packs are about 1/2" longer, 1/4" thicker, and weigh about 3oz more (the Haidue is only 9.3oz). Instead of vulgar plastic, the Haidue is made of champagne-tone metal, with a chrome trim and white plastic ends, and looks really posh -- which may be why it's packaged in a very cute satin-lined jewel box, that makes it an ideal present for the power-hungry gadget lover in your life.Powerwise, the Haidue had no problems returning my fully drained iPad 3 to a 100% charge.Considering its capacity, quality construction, small size, light weight and beautiful finish, I have no problems highly recommending this excellent battery pack.[sample provided for review]
