Note: I received this product for free for my honest review as part of the Vine programThe tape is solid, easy to peel, and apply. While it's easy to tear from the roll for your working piece, it doesn't tear overly easily when you are applying it over things like screws and other metal when applying it on HVAC ducting. I used it to seal some gaps near my air handler and it did a good job.I docked it one star because even though I received the item for free, the price point is a little high compared to what you can find for similar tapes at big box home improvement stores, at least at the time of this writing.

This sticks well and has less sheen than other foil tape. The quality seems decent and there was no issue with residue or packaging. It doesn’t tear as neatly as other foil tape, but I wouldn’t know why. Not much else to say about foil tape. If you’re getting it it’s because you already know you need it.

Got this to use around my AC duct to try and minimize the amount of heat coming off the exhaust pipe and into my room, it did the job and dropped the temps considerably from around 105 degrees to surface temp of about 80F give or take depending on the load the portable AC was having, im also using this in my 3d printing stuff, my filament dryers i lined the insides of them with it to try and retain the heat in the colder months, and it did the job, my dryers kept dropping to 45-48C when i had them set to 50C after insulating them with this stuff they stay steady at 50c with no drops, i honestly had to turn down the temp to 48c as they kept overshootingGreat stuff, it is however a pain to work with as it bends and flexes so easily, so you have to be quick and precise to get a good layer down

I am new to aluminum tape. I am impressed at how well this holds and molds where it needs to. It is flexible and shiny. I look forward to using this tape on a variety of projects in the future as well. Recommend.

Duct tape is great for many things, but not for sealing ducts. For sealing duct joints you can't beat this type of aluminum tape. The work I've done with aluminum tape still looks new years after duct tape has dried and come loose. This type of aluminum tape is usually pretty expensive, so this particular offer is a good value given the length (60 yd) and width (2 in) of the roll. I've ordered other rolls and not checked the specs carefully enough, then been disappointed at how little tape is on the roll. This roll is big enough to complete a lot of work. This aluminum tape also works for other applications where you need a tight, durable, strong seal. For example, the cyclonic chamber on our Dyson vacuum cracked. I repaired it with aluminum tape and it's still holding years later (a good thing given the cost of that vacuum).

I picked up an SxS that needed a lot of body work. I use this aluminum tape on the front side of the repair while welding over holes and such. Works great for that. I have also been using this for areas around the engine that could benefit from minor heat shielding. It works ok for that as well.

Just like the song, "Anything duct tape does, this can do better.”Aluminum Foil Tape sticks like duct tape, it’s flexible like duct tape but it doesn’t degrade like duct tape. The only downside is that it’s not as cheap as duct tape. However, if you need something to stick forever or if it’s going to be exposed to the elements, this is well worth the added expense. Aluminum Foil Tape is sooo much better and this brand doesn’t disappoint.Buy it.

Strong like duct tape, pretty & shiny like a fashion accessory. Exactly what I wanted for my DIY furniture project in which I covered an old bookcase with aluminum wall paper. Missed a few spots and this tape will hide them like magic. I also plan on using it to cover plain old picture frames, making them look like shiny new metal ones. Cool tape for cool projects. Of course it also works to fix and hold together pvc pipes, car bumpers, seal air gaps, etc. Whatever industrial thing you need it for, it will stick and stay put. The aluminum tape has reliable strength, and don’t forget how good it looks!
