Bang Caffeine-Free, Cotton Candy Energy Drink, Zero-Sugar Bang Energy Drink, 16-Ounce (Pack of 12)

I've been trying to find a caffeine free energy drink for a while and was disappointed to learn that Monster had a caffeine free flavor that was discontinued. Bang is hands down the best tasting energy drink (although my mom would disagree, disclaimer: this is being written from her account) and Cotton Candy is their best flavor, but the 300mg of caffeine is a bit excessive if your body chemistry isn't always a fan of large amounts of caffeine (for me personally, my body is really unpredictable in terms of how it handles caffeine—some days it'll literally put me to sleep and others I'll be bouncing off the walls). That being said, finding a Cotton Candy Bang that's caffeine free is like hitting the jackpot. Flavor tastes just like the regular version and it actually still provides an energy boost despite not having any caffeine (without the negative side-effects of excessive caffeine)I don't usually write reviews, but I'm writing this in hopes that it helps keep this drink in existence. There's not many decent caffeine free energy drink options, and I don't know of any others made by the large vendors the likes of Bang, so I have to give major props to Bang for not only making this but also knocking it out of the park in terms of flavor and price.Will definitely be buying it again, 10/10. I'm actually going to look to see if they have a caffeine free version of their Birthday Cake flavor immediately after submitting this review.Very well done, Bang!Update: they had caffeine free Birthday Cake, and I have to give Birthday Cake the crown for best flavor (sorry, Cotton Candy). First time buying this without the added caffeine. I actually love Bang energy drinks, think they are better tasting than most. Plus low carb, and/or no sugar added. I purchased this energy drink due to i wanted to try the flavor. not realizing that it was no caffeine. which it turns out was a nice added feature. I love that Bang is stepping up and adding a no caffeine to their list of flavors and options for this Energy Drink. Sometimes i don't want the added caffeine and i love this flavor of Cotton Candy, it is not too sweet and easy to drink. I would purchase this flavor and drink again and since have shopped for more flavors that are no caffeine added. I still love the ones with Caffeine, but sometimes it is nice to have more options available. Great price for a 12 pack, and fast delivery as well.

Delicious! I don't need the 300g of caffeine in the regular Bang drinks - and honestly could do without the "super creatine" they claim on everything. Really just love the flavor... I think Bang makes some of the best flavored drinks on the planet and would buy more of it if they were just delicious beverages, and not loaded with caffeine/creatine etc... Also, very expensive but for me, worth it for the occasional refreshing treat

I really love the flavor of the regular cotton candy Bang but as someone who doesn’t drink coffee/caffeine the caffeine in the drink really messes me up. So we I found out about this caffeine free version I was super excited. The flavor of the caffeine free version is very different and not in a good way. I opened one can of the regular version I had just to make sure and the side by side comparison confirmed how awful the caffeine free version tastes. If you’re not used to the regular version then maybe you’ll find this tastes good but if you’ve had even six cans of the regular version you’ll be able to tell how bad this tastes. I wouldn’t have thought that removing the caffeine would have any effect on the flavor but apparently it does.

So I was watching "How To With John Wilson", I forget which episode, but he ended up at Jack Owoc's house, creator of Bang, and they were having a party, a... baby shower? I just remember there were kids running everywhere and Jack insisted there be BANG for everyone, but caffeine free for the kids, and I was like, WHAT, they have caffeine free?! Because there is no caffeine free version in any of the stores I have seen Bang in, and I had to give it up because I've been caffeine sensitive my whole life and can feel heart palpitations when I ingest anything more than ~80 in a sitting. And honestly I kinda missed it because Bang flavors run the carnival gamut, from caramel apples to cotton candy (my first and favorite), and even rainbow unicorn, which my boyfriend scolded me for getting as unicorns are arguably endangered, but I said they probably just milk their tears (OF JOY), not butcher them. ANYWAYS, after realizing there was a caffeine free version of the first flavor I tried and loved, Cotton Candy, I bought a case and while there's something not quite as effervescent, maybe a tad more cloying in this version, I still feel satisfied, but a little guilty drinking it (sucralose is sketch). I'll probably buy more.

Something odd about caffeine free Bang. I’m pregnant and *trying* to limit my caffeine. I’ll drink a regular bang or reign a free days a week. I saw caffeine free and was very excited. To my dismay, this version is way too sweet and messes with blood sugar. I normally love the sweet tasting Bangs but this is discustingly sweet and very acidic. Another thing is I get very hungry after drinking one of these. There is something in the caffeine free version the messes with insulin levels. I get a headache and ravenous for sugar after drinking this. Not sure what happened but I wouldn’t recommend.

This drink has beta-alanine not found in the caffeinated version.The taste is good enough for a drink like this.I take medicine for narcolepsy.Caffeine does the opposite much of the time when mixed.

I love Bang energy drinks, but sadly had to part when I found out I was pregnant. That is, until I had discovered these non caffeinated Bang energy drinks! They taste just like the caffeinated drinks. 5/5 recommend! 😊
