Boost Nutritional Pudding, Vanilla, 5 Ounce (Pack of 48)

Purchased this for my (just turned 80) father. He has been undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma. the first few months of treatment had no effect but at this point he can stomach much of anything. Nothing tastes good. (Except Oreo cookies!) He does think the pudding is something that tastes decent and is willing to eat it. I like the extra protein and calories he is able to get from this over ordinary pudding. I also bought the chocolate for him. He thought that was okay but preferred the vanilla.

Like everything about this life saving product, except it is VERY expensive.

This product is used mainly for protein and to maintain my weight (I have severe osteoporosis). I don't consume it as a "pudding", I mix it with my oatmeal and the slightly sweet flavor is great !

I like the calories & protein that Boost provides.The thickness of Boost is too thick for my straightforward swallowing.Therefore, I need to thin it out to help my swallowing procedure.

Tried this in the hospital as a meal replacement and thought it was outstanding so remembered it when my Mom had dental work done. Great flavor tastes just like dessert especially cold! Perfect for those who hate feeling full or want more variety than meal replacement shakes. Would highly recommend!

Was suggested by nurse to help wife replace weight lost due to hip replacement, as is higher protein!

This is the most horrible tasting stuff! It’s supposed to be vanilla flavor, which you would expect to be a light yellow color. This pudding is actually an orangey brown color (ewww) and tastes like sour peanut butter! It’s absolutely the most awful protein pudding ever made. Spent $78.00 and I can’t get a refund! DO NOT RECOMMEND! DONT BUY!

ok, 5 stars because my daughter loves it and gobbles it up. 1 star for the new packaging. These used to come in metal containers with actual lids. Not anymore!!! They are now made out of what feels like really cheap plastic with NO LIDS at all, just a film covering the top. I have ordered many cases of this boost and have never had a single can with the old style metal cans ever bust. My last 2 orders with these new cans have both come with busted containers. Considering the price on these things continue to get higher every time I order, why the change to these new crappy containers?? My last order of these came and get this, 30 out of 48 containers had exploded. Not the containers themselves but the thin film that covers the top and exploded and boost pudding everywhere. The ones that hadnt exploded was swollen and looked like they were ready to bust at any second. Amazon replaced my order and shipped it next day and it did come without incident.So I have to ask, why the price increase with the lower quality containers? Very upset at boost over the continued price increase and crappy quality of these new containers.

Great product. Four puddings were crushed and leaking and had to be thrown out and this product is very expensive.
