Michael Schenker Group: Live In Tokyo - 30th Anniversary Concert

I'm thinking you have probably got a few albums and DVDs of this guy or you wouldn't be reading this. Me too. This is a GREAT DVD! You'll love it. It's really well-filmed, it has Schenker playing at one of his many peaks, and it's got the most awesome band: Barden on vocals (and he's on form too!) and Simon Phillips on the drums, a great, great drummer. This is such a good film.And if you're a guitarist you'll love it -- great close ups. That vibrato!! It's everywhere!:-)

A great rock solid set of some of Schenkers greatest songs with The MSG. Great quality video and sound, love it!

To anyone who's considering buying this Blu Ray DVD be aware that on the case cover it states that the DVD is approx 175 minutes duration, including bonus interviews with Schenker & other band members. Mine has no content menu,no bonus material whatsoever,no credits at end and is only 1hr 45 minutes in duration. I find this somewhat strange to say the least. The actual footage is fantastic, but also very disappointing because of the missing material. Unlike Ronseal it doesn't do what it says on the tin. Ive complained to Amazon and am assured they are looking into it.

This DVD is the best Michael schenker has released the quality is very good and the concert brilliant with Michael playing as good has he ever has as played and with my favourite singer in the band Gary Barden Gary's lyrics and tunes are the best for me well worth buying

This is a very good dvd and it captures a great band on stage.
