The boxes over all are good. They are not super sturdy, okay for kids to paint and play with. They shipped them in a bag, by the time they got delivered three of them were damaged.

With a little sanding this box was a value for the cost and good enough for a stain and varnish finish. It looked great. I actually did some antique penwork on it because the box came out so nicely. It is a lightweight pine but is sturdy.

i previously reviewed but had described incorrectly the clasp. the picture shows a latch with just a nub.... the clasps on the boxes recieved are ''lunch box'' type clasps. i would have prefered the ones pictured.

They weren't any where near the size I thought so won't work for what I needed them for. They are tiny in comparison to what they said they were.

For the price I could not argue with what I got. One of the hinges was broken but fixable. It is a solid wood box that I made into gift boxes and did the job perfectly.

They are nice boxes for the price - but one had a broken latch - which didn't bother me because I was not going to use the latch anyway.

I was really impressed with the over all look of these boxes. They are easy to work with, and look amazing once you have a stain on them. The hinges and locks work on all of them and they match really well with any shade pf stain. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the length of the shipping and the size of the box was smaller than I planned.

Perfect! I bought to my bridesmaids boxes in and they were a perfect size! fit a bath bomb, small shower gel, lotion and spray.

Cheaper than making your own.
