seleXions Coffee Single Cup Filter Permanent Filter, First Class Gold Filter

I used this at my sisters house & decided to get one myself. It is perfect for when you just want a single cup of decent coffee.For me, I didn't want the on going expense & faff of using filter papers, so this was a great solution.It is made to a good standard & will last ages.Easy to use, easy to clean, does what it says on the tin!

This is very convenient way to make coffee. Also good for travelling.After use, the grouts are really quite dry so easy to throw straight into bin.Tip, pour just 1cm boiling water in and give a little swirl, this gets the grind to swell and the pour rest of water in to filter.

I feel stupid that I bought it (Selexions) as it is worse than the old filter I used from SwissGold. The Selexions filter has a very fragile filter and now I realise it isn't made of gold and it has the colour of brass. SwissGold uses a very strong filter and I used it for 10 years until the filter started to break. I should have bought a SwissGold filter to replace the old one not Selexions!

I prefer this over most other filters I have tried. I don't use all the extra plastic crap it comes with, like the top two sections, I just put coffee in and pour hot water in, no fiddling around. Only two problems I have is, its over priced for what it is and the filter perforations are not small enough, your still going to have to use paper filters inside this on store bought pre-ground coffee. Decrease the perforation size by half and reduce the price somewhat and I would give it 5 stars.

Brilliant. Second one purchased, easy to use, makes a great cuppa, no need to use soap, just rinses out after use. Much simpler than a one-cup caffetiere. Worth the money.

This coffee filter is GREAT! In the mornings I use my full-size coffee-maker but when I feel like a small cup of coffee in the afternoon, I use this single cup filter and the coffee is just as delicious. It's quick, no fuss and easy to clean - highly recommended!

I have been taking coffee bags and single filter coffees to work but have a few kg of beans and ground coffee at home which I thought was a waste. I bought this filter to utilise the coffee I already have. It's not the cheapest out there but it's also not the most expensive. It's simple to use and simple to clean I find one scoop of coffee produces a strong cup very quickly. It do leave some small bits in the bottom but I just don't totally drain my mug. If you like proper coffee at work it's well worth getting this filter

This makes a very decent cup of filtered coffee, without the fuss of cleaning a more complicated method. Our previous one lasted for years.
