These 5 inch bowls are perfect for daily use and perfect for entertaining too. I ordered 13 during special sale, 1 is broken but was refunded quickly. Packaging for these bowls must be improved; to the seller, please don't pack them in huge boxes, they rock inside during shipping.

This is a pretty and delightful small bowl. It doesn't look as wide as I expected (though it is in fact 5") but it is also much deeper than I expected. Would be good as a rice bowl as well as for fruit, cobbler or ice cream, etc. Not as wide as your usual cereal bowls but would work well for oatmeal because of its depth. Or it could also be used as a candy or nut dish, or as a centerpiece for a small floral arrangement if you add one of those green foam blocks. It's very sturdy and of high quality, as you would expect of Portmeirion. I chose the Portmeirion rose, which is on the bottom of the bowl and is also on the outside, alongside two other roses (so there are 3 roses on the outside altogether). One of the nice things about Portmeirion pieces is that no matter what particular pattern you already have, you can mix in their other patterns and it all looks great together.

Well made and the patterns are perfect. I've added this my collection of Portmeirion and this bowl is perfect size for yoghurt in the morning. Happy to have found this item

I discovered Portmeirion many years ago and fell in love with the beautiful botanical designs. I pick up pieces whenever I have the opportunity to do so! This is a cute little bowl that can be used for a variety of things. It is the perfect size for cereal or ice cream, but can also be used as a catchall on a dresser or kitchen counter. It is an added bonus that something so beautiful is also microwave and dishwasher safe. You can't go wrong with Portmeirion!

this is smaller than the portmeirion cereal bowls I have and is more of an ice cream bowl. I don't love that every single flower is labeled, and that it says "portmeirion" on the inside in addition to the stamp on the bottom. it's less classy than the other portmeirion floral dishes. overall it's still good in the same ways as their others.

This bowl is very nice and a good size for some ice cream! Probably not big enough for cereal unless it’s a rich granola or something like that. The series for this is roses - on the outside there are 3 roses, so it’s only missing the red rose. The other three are on all the bowls. The trim at the top is very nicely done. This is a sturdy ceramic bowl and should last for years and years. It’s dishwasher safe too! Always a plus.

This is a high-quality bowl with all the features you would expect from a reputable brand. A while back I received similar bowls from Portmeirion that seemed to be factory seconds but I am not seeing any problems with this bowl. I examined it carefully. The printing is perfectly centered and there are no visible flaws. The bowl is very beautiful. It is useful for holding small things like nuts and candy. It is tasteful and decorative. This is the kind of fine China that is fun to collect. There are many matching bowls, cups and tea pots. The Botanic Roses pattern has been around for a long time, and you will be able to get matching pieces in the future.

As a big fan of Portmeirion, I love this cute bowl. It's a bit smaller than my regular cereal bowl, but it's versatile and perfect for many other foods, like rice or side dishes. Made of sturdy ceramic, it features the always pleasing botanic rose design.
