This orzo product is a great way to replace espresso coffee. I use it especially to make cappuccino. The result is as good as "Cappuccino di Orzo" that I've had in "bars" in Italy.

Good barley product. While using on a Moka, it does expand a lot while brewing, causing the moka safety valve to go off. Make sure to use about half of the quantity of coffee you would normally use in your machine for it to brew properly.

The media could not be loaded. This product was recommended by a European friend. She shared that many people use this in Italy and can see why. It’s very tasty! It’s got a nutty taste, and it’s a little milder than coffee. Of course, nothing is going to compare to coffee but I like the fact that it doesn’t have caffeine, which was irritating my stomach. I also like that it is smooth and doesn’t have an acidic taste to it. I recommend that you get an insulated mug so that it will have time to steep and a metal tea filter that you can drop in the mug. I’ve been having this daily instead of coffee and I really enjoy the taste.

The product is great. I am from Italy and was surprised to be able to purchase it online; it was a little pricey.Complaint: The box arrived damaged, cut on the bottom. The product was loose and partially lost inside the unwrapped item.

One of the better substitutes, but if I closed my eyes I wouldn’t say it reminded me of coffee.

This is terrible. Does not mix easily. There are bigger pieces than previously. It tastes like burnt pieces of something.
