An Informative Guide To Making Better Food Choices
I found this book to be a very interesting, informative guide to making better food choices. Anyone could benefit from reading this book, since we can all make better choices for ourselves. The book first explains what blood types are and how they differ. Knowing your blood type is a very important key to proper eating habits.According to the book, people with blood type A, like me, should be a vegetarian. I have never considered being a vegetarian, but the book did put the idea in my head. People with blood type O, like my father, should eat meat every day. The blood type diet is an eating strategy. This well written book is spot on in its description of blood types and characteristics of my particular blood group. The book was spot in in its description of my husband's blood type, as well. The description of the the personalities of people with a certain blood type were also spot on for both myself and my husband.Water is very important for everyone since dehydration can cause headaches, backaches, constipation, fibromyalgia, and more. The best weight loss plan is to eat healthy foods, in moderation, get moderate exercise, and eat the proper foods for your blood type.I learned a lot by reading this book and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in a healthier lifestyle.

A solid piece of writing on the topic of health and wellness!
Health is my number one priority and I’ve been trying out lots of different diets out there but there was something about the blood group diet that really caught my eye. It felt more natural somehow… more in line with who I am, biologically speaking. The author clearly speaks from experience and it quickly becomes evident that she is well versed on the topic of health and wellness. In this book, Wilson addresses common myths surrounding blood types, how you can start making smarter food choices for your specific blood type, and even talks about cancer in relation to blood types. For me this has proven to be a crucial read and I’m definitely on my way to becoming a stronger and healthier me. And if I can, you can do it as well!

A VERY Educational Book!!
I'd heard about the Blood Type diet when it first came out and at that time, being a different person than I am now, I felt that it was a bunch of bunk. Now that I've gone through a near-complete metamorphosis, I've developed an interest in many things that I'd once relegated to the "eye roll.""Blood Type Diet: Eating Right For Your Blood Type 101" is a very well written and researched book that gives you more than enough information to begin eating in this manner without the need for anything further. Although a true "level 101" book, it's still very complete in that it covers all the bases. While the jury's still out for me and how I'll move forward with my dietary choices, this book gave me ALL I needed to know that allows me to make a very wise, informed choice for myself. Kudos to the author. If you're curious about this food plan, get THIS book!! You'll find that it answers all of your questions very well.

Blood Type Eating.
This easy to read and understand book provides eating tips by giving examples of food that are recommended and to avoid for different blood types that will help the person stay lean and healthy. At first I was not convinced about this kind of diet but after reading through the book, it made sense that our blood type has a connection with the foods that we consume. The book also has a Myths and Truths chapter where it is explained the common myths that we are most likely to believe. I enjoyed reading this book because it did not lack any dietary information and it made me realize that making the right food choices will help our improve our health.

Informative to the Max!
In Blood Group Diet: Eating Right For Your Blood Group 101 by Cathy Wilson, I had not considered that a diet specifically tailored to one’s blood type might improve one’s overall health and wellness, ESPECIALLY if you have an active lifestyle. Each blood type carries its own nuances that one should be familiar with if you are going to live a healthier lifestyle. The writing was informative and I learned several new things that I did not know regarding blood typing and their distinct features that make us function. I recommend this book if you are into proper nutrition and want to live longer!

Very helpful!
Before I read this book I didn’t even realize that a particular blood group requires special diet. This book not only gives eating tips for each blood group but also gives tons of information about all these groups and blood in general. I liked the most the chapter about myths and truths about diet. It is so important to know what food is right for your blood group. By following the advice from this book you will see improvement in your health, you’ll have more energy and you’ll feel better in general. I’d recommend this book to everyone. It’s a must read.

Really interesting
Really good book for diets. There are some foods that are really good for my blood type. There are also some other foods that are bad for my body and damage it. So it is a really good guide if you wan to know what food to eat more and what others to avoid.

Another good source of information in diets and nutrition
Great starter book on blood group diets. I had heard some positive feedback from others on eating for your blood group but had not really had time to investigate. The author provides some key facts about each blood group and then gets into the details of the types of foods you should and shouldn't eat and how those foods might affect your body.

This is probably not what you think it is...
I bought this thinking it was a book...I was MASSIVELY disappointed. It’s more of a flyer, pamphlet or a leaflet even! Very sparse with minimal information not what I would call a book. Basically, this is not the book you are looking for...I did get this refunded

Informative
Lots of information, set out in a good format. The author's personality comes through, which spices up some of the bland scientific aspects. Her ambivalence is also refreshing - I personally want to know and do more to be keep my blood healthy, however, I don't appreciate dietary zealots and I always try to bear in mind my Great-Grandmother's adage 'a little of what you fancy does you no harm'...the stress being on little! It's easy to swing both ways these days, with fear and misinformation creating the blinkered diet fanatics and laziness and lifestyle creating diet slobs. I think Cathy has made it clear that she is a sensible and happy medium. The book itself needs an editors touch if it's going to gain popularity. There are quite a few typos, missing words, poor use of language etc. for the information to be completely understood. Comes across as an info sheet to be given to clients at a clinic. But at the price I paid, I certainly am not complaining! I bought this because my liver is struggling with toxins and I need to clean my blood up, it just makes sense to take care of the fuel that fires the engine! I'm glad this was available as a low-cost alternative to a paperback, and will recommend it.

The Blood Type Diet is brilliant... but this book is dreadful and should be avoided!
A complete waste of time and money. I was curious because I've been following the blood type diet for several years and I thought this might be a new angle. It's not. It's an appallingly written rehash of the Adamo original which succeeds in both insulting and patronising anybody unfortunate enough to read it. It's only saving grace is that it's not very long, but that is still a couple of hours of my life I'll never get back! Please understand that I am a huge advocate of the blood type diet! It has made huge differences to my health and wellbeing and it is highly recommended. What is not recommended is this bloody awful book. If you are interested in the blood type diet, check out the work of Peter D Adamo, who has done extensive research and know's what he's talking about.

Who knew?
Who knew? I like Cathy Wilson's health and nutrition books because they're full of solid science, some interesting ideas, and good guidance about how to implement the advice in your real life. This one delivers as usual. It's no surprise that some food groups don't work well with particular blood types, especially when you understand the origins of different blood groups. A very interesting and informative read.
