WSP Shaving Brush & Double Edge Safety Razor Stand Nickel Chrome

I bought this 2 weeks ago and the base where the stand screws in has already started to rust, I'm highly disappointed. However it does it's job of holding the brush and razor... But it prone to rusting very quickly

I read various comments about this holder but so far it is holding up well for the first several months. I could not discern any deficiencies in the plating process of which I am personally familiar. the only reason I did not rate it a 5 is the prongs to hold the brush were too far apart for my monarch brush and I had to "encourage" them to fit it.

This design is great, with the wieght base and overall look. However, the cosmetic quality does not match. Surface finish is poor: chrome has burn through (char marks on base; where vertical bar threads into base), and surface finish of metal is rough (shows inconsistant polish marks, burrs, and scratchs)

Very good and sturdy stand. You don't have to worry about it tipping over. Chrome is nicer than I expected at this price. I would give 5 star but it does not fit my merkur future. But it fits my Edwin just fine.

I have recently started using a shaving brush and double edge razor and this stand is perfect for me. It is sufficiently heavy to avoid tipping over, the slots are perfect for my shaving gear and keeps my razor and brush off the sink. I highly recommend this to anyone. It holds a razor. It holds a brush. Fits perfectly on the small sink in my bathroom, but the bottom rusted and stained the sink/counter top within the first week. It also arrived bent and scratched up. Dropped while being packaged? Get what you pay for?

The stand is well made and absolutely does the job. I recommend.
