These work great but I would recommend running a zip tie around the bottom bar below the hooks. Run the zip tie over the bar and through the chain links of the kennel below the bar to really hold this in place. Otherwise my dogs were able to knock it off the kennel.

I bought the large size and mounted it on the side of the xpen. It didn’t even last a week before both hangers for the bowls were broken. I don’t know if I just got a pair of hangers that had a poor weld, or if this a standard problem. I tried contacting the company but the phone number listed did not work on multiple occasions. Returned to Amazon and looking for newer sturdier bowls. It is a shame since the bowls themselves appear very nice but I have plenty of bowls that I can put on the floor. I need ones that hang and if the hanger breaks it is worthless.

Our puppy was injured while chewing these frames. They are easily removed from the crate and the hooks pose a risk to an eager but inexperienced puppy that chews everything. To be fair, I had attached the frames with a cable tie to the crate as suggested in other reviews, but the puppy managed to prize the hooks free, even though they were tied. Under tension from the cable ties, the frame flipped suddenly and the hook caught the puppy in the mouth. The metal hooks had sharp burrs on them. My recommendation is to find a frame that is designed to fasten securely and safely to the cage. Was very alarming to see a pool of blood in the bottom of the crate from the oral wound arising from these frames. Ended up costing us $185 in emergency room fees. Without the cable ties constraining the frames the hook pose a risk. We chucked them out.

The bowls are great and easy to clean. But the rack they hang on is horrible 😖 if the whole point is to have these bowls hang on the kennels/crate then I cannot understand why the hook is curved so shallow? My dog easily knocks his bowl down everytime from simply eating. Which creates a mess and encourages him to eat from the ground. I think I may send these back.

I have a wooden crate and I hoped this could be used for water in that crate. It cannot. The parts that hang it on the side of the crate are good, but the lower part hits the wall of the crate and so the water dish is lopsided and can easily be dumped on the floor of the crate. I have been putting a dish on the floor of the crate and a dish of water inside that dish. Not so happy with that. Now I am using a crate that has a door which I can hang the dish of water on and that works. The wooden crate is basically not being used at this time. I cannot find any dish holder that I can hang on the side of the wooden crate.

Love this! Makes it easier to feed my dog. We’re able to take out the bowls quickly and wash them before serving his food. My only complaint would be that the little rubber feet on the legs fall off so then it makes it easier for my dog to knock it down when eating, but we zip tied the bottom to the crate and we don’t have issues with it moving anymore.

I like this bowl set. It’s easy to clean, the bowls themselves can go straight in the dishwasher. I did have to pinch the hangers w/ pliers because the hanger opening was too wide for my dog’s crate. Without pinching it, she could bump the bowl and it would let go of the crate wall. But since fixing that, it’s great!

These are good, they are a little tricky to get in and out of the racks because they are very flush against the rack and there really is no good way of getting them out, there's nothing to hold on to. They also don't nest so it makes travelling a little more awkward. Otherwise they work well.
