Martha Stewart Jakarta Blackout Rod Pocket/Back Tab Window Curtain Panel Pair, 95", Indigo

I originally left a 5 star review on these and promptly purchased another pair to complete the big window in my bedroom and I have to say I am super disappointed in this second pair. This particular pair is so poorly made that I am considering returning them, the hem is uneven and the overall look is sloppy with one panel’s fabric sewn at a slant so that the whole weave is crooked (and being a linen like weave it is very noticeable) and just looks “off” and like something I picked up at a discount store. I tried to resolve it, hoping I could get them to replace just the unusable panel rather than return all of my panels, by going to the Martha Stewart website that Amazon repeatedly referred me to but that site appears to be more about their magazine publishing and I couldn’t find anything that would help me with solving an actual issue with one of their products. So, though excited about my initial order (as you can see below) I am now just irritated and will likely return the faulty items.After ordering some Martha Stewart napkins recently and being disappointed in their quality I was hesitant to order these drapes but they went with my home decor SO well I just had to give them a try and in these I was not at all disappointed, they’re wonderful! The pattern is beautiful and has enough tiny bits of pale aqua in it to make it work with my Sea Salt bedroom wall paint. The background is a lovely white linen (with what I would describe as a barely gray strand woven in) instead of the ivory that so much stuff comes in these days and I honestly just love everything about these, so much so that I ordered another pair and am looking forward to having enough panels to complete the look. They drape in a full, lovely fashion even on my large bedroom room window (I tried them in several rooms) and they could actually be hung without ironing but I likely will iron mine. They are lined with a separate but attached liner and it is light filtering but not light blocking, I think that should be changed on the product page. These are really lovely and I would recommend. I had canceled these curtains but they were already sent out and I absolutely love them. No complaint at all.

While I love the pattern and the quality of the fabric and the lining (which is why I gave them 2 stars), I was extremely disappointed in the craftsmanship. The sides "pucker" along the seam where they were sewn too tightly, which pulls up the curtain fabric, making it substantially shorter on both sides. It is literally uneven along the hemline at the bottom. And not by just a little, but by quite a lot. I understand why they are shown "puddled" on the floor in the picture; if not, you would see how uneven they actually are. And I purchased 2 sets, and both have the same problem, so it's not just a fluke. I am quite surprised at the lack of quality control on the craftsmanship by the Martha Stewart team, which, until now, I felt was a trusted company. I will definitely rethink anything I purchase with the Martha Stewart brand name. I would not recommend them to anyone

True to colors, great fabric and lining. Very classy drapes.

Let me say first that floral patterned drapes, or patterned drapes of any kind, have never been my thing. But when I saw these I thought the pattern was so pretty that I wanted to see what they looked like in person, and I am glad I did. They're gorgeous. The blue is a lovely shade, the pattern is delicate, and the option to use either the back tabs or rod pocket to hang them is great. I've never seen that before. I prefer a rod pocket myself so that's what they got. Now, I don't know how the description got the words blackout lining in it, but these are in no way blackout curtains. At most, they could be called room darkening, and even that is pushing the definition of the term. But, for what you get, I think these are very reasonably priced and won't disappoint you.

I was delighted to see the quality of the drapes. They are nice and heavy, and a clean, bright print. Lovely texture too. The lining is a grey-blue satiny type fabric, again a nice weight. I do need to iron out a couple wrinkles from being packaged, but I think they'll be gorgeous.

They are perfect on my windows. I am very pleased with the colour and quality.
