Rajib during my conversation that it would be nice for some additional details to be included
I had spoken to the author this morning during Cisco Live in Orlando and he was able to point me to the material that I had initially missed during my initial reading (regarding remote spoke locations communication with FMC). Book is quite comprehensive for the "core practices" for FTD with FMC implementations. I had expressed to Mr. Rajib during my conversation that it would be nice for some additional details to be included, however the book would probably be few hundred pages longer. If you are implementing FTD with FMC, you will certainly find this reading very helpful, and you will not regret buying it. Thank you Nazmul for this great material :)

Nice Reference
This e-book was useful while studying for my CCNP Security, specifically exam 300-210. As you know, pursuing this particular certification is hard especially if your organization doesn’t support the technologies covered in the exam. I used this book in conjunction with rack rentals & video courses, Cisco Next-Generation Security Solutions, and Cisco documentation. There isn’t a specific book that covers 300-210 which was a refresh from the previous 300-207 exam. While you can’t go wrong with Cisco documentation, this book comes with configuration walkthroughs with diagrams/screenshots. If you’re fortunate enough to be using some of the technology covered, you can follow along. The book in my opinion is also a nice reference to have, especially since it covers a lot of information about Cisco NGFWs which a nice portion Network Engineers are using in Production in their respective environments.

This book really helped me out to understand the FTD code from start to finish and would recommend it to anyone who is trying to figure out ...
Book is solid in the fundamentals, this book shows you how to get the 5500 series and 4100 series up and running and also goes over registration to FMC, licensing, access policies, FMC, FXOS, URL filtering and IPS policies. This book really helped me out to understand the FTD code from start to finish and would recommend it to anyone who is trying to figure out if this book is worth it...it is. Especially when you need to troubleshoot with TAC, you have a leg up with the same troubleshooting techniques that Cisco TAC uses so you can prove were the issue is and get to the next level in support.

Great technical explanation. Finally a book that would ease the deployment of this great security product
As a snort, Sourcefire, and now a Cisco Firepower SME, finally a book that gets you into the meat of this product. I had worked with product for many years and continue to do so now. Great detail, technical explanation, easy read, even quizzes you! I personally worked with some of them in Sourcefire. This is a breakthrough. I congratulate Nazmul, which I remember when came to Sourcefire. Thank you so much. For all those Network, firewall engineers, architects, partners, resellers, Cyber engineers this book will assist you in managing this security appliance. Hopefully, Cisco and its partners can provide training sessions around this book. Thank you

Good Book
I work for an IT Service Provider. Cisco is putting an EOL on the ASA models in the 55XX line. We're seeing customers transitioning to using FTDs. This book was very helpful with explaining and illustration most of the fundamentals surround the installation and configuration FTDs with an FMC. What I would liked to have also seen is on considerations and steps on how to migrate from the ASA Platform to FTD and more insight into the SSL decryption feature available with FTD

Definitely worth the purchase
This book, along with the relevant images and GNS3 will give one a pretty solid understanding of the product. It doesn't cover everything, but it gives you a deep enough understanding to enable you deploy, administer, and troubleshoot the device, and certainly to use other online sources to further broaden your knowledge of the technology.

A good handbook to get started
A good handbook to get started, although some of the advise is countered by Cisco Live webinars (e.g Network Discovery 0.0.0.0/0)Definitely one to have, especially during a first deployment.
