These do not have a timer and they are much too bright. There is NO remote control. These need to go back.

set your expectations -lower- even if martha has her name on it. one of the twelve didn’t work. tried replacing battery & still no-go. id given away a few to a friend or id be tempted to return these.MAKE sure you have a TINY screwdriver to change batteries. not sure how long these things will last & unimpressed

Better than standard tealight candles. They don't look cheap. But they don't flicker and the flame light is cool white. No remote either.

Loved the brightness

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these candles in 3 different sizes. The votives are perfect. The flicker is very realistic and exactly what I wanted, so I ordered them in larger sizes (4 and 6 inch) as well, expecting a matching set. The larger sizes don't match the votives. Not only do the colors not match, but the larger sizes have a very unrealistic flicker. It looks very cheap. When I say that the colors don't match, I'm talking about the color of the candle itself when turned off, and I'm also referring to the color of the glow when the candles are on. The larger candles are off white on the exterior--practically yellow--and produce more of a yellow/orange light. The votives are a very pretty white on the exterior and glow with a pale yellow/white light. I tried to capture all of this in my pics and video. I'm returning the larger candles and will have to keep shopping. By the way, I can clear up any confusion about the timer function. The votives don't have one, and the larger candles do.

Admittedly, I gagged at the price when I first saw these but they were just what I was looking for. I figured at best, if they didn't perform to satisfaction, I could always send them back. Mind you, I have lots of other flameless candles around my home and these were to replace a pair that had the battery part leak the battery acid. This was the first time purchasing the Martha Stewart brand. They are on a timer, glow with a look of a real candle and overall create a nice ambiance. The other name brands that I have, the lights tend to be obviously artificial but not so with these. When these turn on, they truly look like real candles.

Product was packaged nicely and candles arrived with batteries already installed!
