the fabric is stretchy, soft, and not real heavy. This is a gift for my daughter's soon to be born baby. Her husband has an orange beanie, therefore baby needs a matching beanie. Love it!

I was trying to style some fashionable outfits for my son based on some Pinterest looks and one of them had a beanie so I came to Amazon looking for a similar one. I found it, but also noticed they had this green one and in smaller sizes (0-6 months), so I purchased three. One for right now and two in different colors for 6-36 months. And OMG. The way this beanie immediately makes my baby so cute and fashionable but also is functional and keeps him warm at an affordable price. 1000% YESSS!!! Don’t hesitate, just buy it.

Stretchy but small enough to fit a younger baby
My baby was 8 lbs when he came out and outgrew the newborn hats within a few weeks. I got this hat thinking he would grow into it, but he was able to wear it much sooner than I thought and is still able to wear it now at 8 months.
