Can't use it for more than 3 hours. Our pool is to heal our dog's torn ACL and relieve my lupus pain. It's above ground and not really large. The heater freezes up everytime we try. Cant be used.We had high hopes to continue our care.

We hooked this up to our 750gal stock tank pool to make it into a hot tub. It works great and will get from ambient to set temperature in around 7 hours. A little bummed that there was a few hundred dollar price reduction after our purchase of it but we are happy with it anyway.

Did not heat water at all and leaking from inside.

We'll see if I need to edit my review after some prolonged use, but so far - excellent. Make sure this size heater connects to regular small pool pump, like Intex 530 gph, this water pressure is maximum the heater will take. Having a warm stream of water ongoing even when you're swimming is amazing. Any pool around 2,000 gallons, like 12' round ones, get warmed up pretty quickly. They do scare you to not have the control panel under the rain, while obviously you set thuis heater under the weather; wish they included some control panel cover or plastic "roof" over entire box. Otherwise, amazing.
