This is a fantastic wall clock. It is quite big - the same size as our kitchen clock and is fantastically quiet. It teaches your young children tonread the time in 3 easy steps. They do however need to be able to recognise and be able to count up to 30.My son who is currently 4 and 2 months old was able to recocgnise the 'to and past' the hour and also the minutes upto 15 within the first hour of having the clock. As a consequence he was asking us to ask him the time all afternoon. He does need to learn the rest of his numbers however we could clearly see the benefit of this clock and the method behind it.We have gone on to buy him a wrist watch of a similar design but different make for Christmas on the understanding that he can have a watch if he can tell the time by then - which I believe will be easily acheivable. Ifyou want to help your children to tell the time and can afford this it is a fantastic teaching aid which is also fun.

Very impressed with the size of this click and how clear it is. This will be a combined present with the matching watch for my 6 yr old son to help him to learn how to tell the time - the proof will be in the pudding! And we will be putting the clock up in his and his little brothers play room. Only have it 4 stars as not actually put any batteries in it to check it works etc and doesn't have excessively loud tick or anything and the packaging (but not the clock) was damaged on arrival. First impressions are very good!

I am extremely pleased with this clock I bought for my son's bedroom. It feels very sturdy and well-made. The design is very good - it is completely silent, and has a smooth-running second hand as well as hour and minute hands to teach that time is constantly moving. My son (4) is already getting the hang of telling the time and loves asking me what time he can get up (bonus!) then running in in the morning to tell me the time! Very pleased.

I love this clock. My son had trouble learning to read the time and the design of this clock really helps him match the numbers to the correct hand, as well as being more secure as to what part is past and to. I kind of wish it had a gentle shading for the sections around the hour numbers to make it more obvious to the child to which number the 'past' and 'to' belongs to, but this is so much better than any other teaching clock I have ever bought, and as a teacher I have bought a few. Just a note to say that this clock is really large, larger than I expected, but then it does make the numbers clearer, it just takes more space on the wall than I expected.

This was bought alongside a Cannibal Chilrden's watch for my daughter's 7th birthday. This wall is the best way to teach your child to tell the time. It looks great on the wall and is big enough for my daughter to be able to tell the time from a distance. The colour coding and clear sections makes it very easy to use. My daughter learnt to tell the time with it in less than an hour.

We have just received this and it looks to be well made and designed. Can’t report on how good it is at teaching kids to tell the time but if this can’t do it, then it’s probably the kids that are thick :)

If your ward is finding time telling difficult, this clock is all you need to reach them. It's a tad expensive but well worth the money.Took less than 3hrs to teach our 6 year old to tell the time.

fantastic product, my children learnt to read it in no time, and I think by repeatedly asking them to tell the time they will learn to read usual clocks.They should have one in each school.The problem with most time teaching clocks is they have the minutes inside the hours, so how can you explain to your child that the they should read the minutes first? this one has the minutes on the outside so you tell the child read the long dial first then past/to the hour, simple!

I bought this clock to teach my home-schooled child to tell time with an analog display. This is how it works: 1). "You read the number at the end of the long hand," 2). "Say which side it's pointing to: 'minutes to' (RED) or 'minutes past' (BLUE)," 3). "Read the number at the end of the short hand." The box it came in says it is the "the simplest most effective time teaching system for children" and the result our family has experienced prove it to be so, at least for us. I followed the instructions included with the clock to instruct my child how to tell the time with this clock, and within two days, the child was able to tell parents, uncles and grandparents the time whenever asked without a glitch. The clock is made by Theme Time Australia, in New South Wales, Australia. It is made of thicker plastic, with a plastic lens, sturdy. It uses one AA battery. The recommended age is 5 to 12 years of age. BUY IT, it REALLY works!

Dopo soli cinque mesi è arrivato anche il pacco originario, probabilmente calpestato da uno degli elefanti di Annibale sulle Alpi, durante il trasporto in Italia. Lascio immaginare il contenuto.

Si votre enfant vous demande l'heure à tout bout de champs,achetez lui cette horloge.J'ai cherché un bon moment sur le net et j'ai fini par trouver cette horloge pédagogique fiable; donne l'heure exacte.Et l'enfant n'a plus qu'à lire les chiffres de la petite et grande aiguille pour avoir l'heure.(pour info mon fils a 5 ans et se débrouille comme un chef). Les chiffres sont très visibles et l'apprentissage très facile.Seul bémol :pourquoi ne trouve-t-on pas ce produit en France? Avec un prix correct.

Arrived quickly, and has worked beautifully ever since. My daughters love coming to me to tell me the time. Easy to understand product, does exactly what it advertises.
