A solid budget-friendly option for a long run of cables.
I picked up another pair of JBL speakers with hopes of being able to run a second pair across longer distances in a venue. I’ve been trying different cable formats from XLR to 1/4" to Speakon to see which I prefer. These cables were good enough quality for my moderate use. They are not the thickest I’ve used but they appear to be made from an acceptable gauge wire. The jacket is a PVC material which is maybe a step down from the more rubbery pro cables I’ve used, but it’s a small step and commensurate with a product at this price point. They coil and uncoil nicely and the cables don’t seem to have a lot of memory like the cheaper options I’ve used. I would say that the quality and durability are middle of the road. Since they are a little thin, I don’t know how much power you want to send through these things. I don’t push my gear too hard so I can’t speak to how well these will perform if you drive some high power audio through them. The plugs feel sturdy and reliable. They worked in my gear as good as any others and they are serviceable if you need to do a repair. A quick inspection revealed that they were securely connected to the wires. There is good strain relief where the cable meets the plug. I think these things can take some abuse as they travel from gig to gig. I tried to bend them and stress them, especially around the plugs. I didn’t notice any signal loss or other failures. There was no more static or noise with these cables than any of the others I’ve used between my gear.

Decent wire and setup speakon cable
Checked what i could on this before can use it and the connectors look good though if have to reinsert a wire are a little finicky to get to clamp down again. and the wireing is done correctly. 12 AWG unshielded untwisted pair wire used in these cables.

Well built
Nice speaker cables. the Speakon connectors aren't the very best available but they aren't the worst either. both ends of the cable fit well and I had no problems plugging them in or unplugging them. The cable they are made of is nicely rubberized and it will lay flat once it's been unrolled and allowed to relax a little bit. I took one of the connectors apart and the actual wire size at the connector looked to be the right size to carry the signal from the amp.The wire was screwed and clamped into the connector, not soldered and the connections appeared to be nice and tight. The connectors are the 4 pole type and not the cheaper (and sometimes not as well made) two conductor type. The connectors clamped well to the wire so the strain relief was more than adequate. When plugged in to a power amp and a speaker cabinet the cable performed as expected. There was no noticeable signal loss and there was no added noise. Hooking and unhooking the connectors was easy and I didn't have to wrestle them any to disconnect them. was using Crown amps with Yamaha cabinets. All in all I'm really pleased with these cables. Good connectors and they appear to be made from an acceptable quality and gauge of wire. With the appropriate care these cables should last a long time and if you have a problem with the connectors fixing them will be made easier because they aren't soldered.

A good solid speaker cable well put together.
These are well put together cables. So what does that mean? For me it really comes down to the connectors. These are 4 terminal speakon connectors. Now for myself, only two of the terminals will get used 1+ and 1- for regular use with PA Power amplifiers and speakers. Now, what I like about them is pretty simple, the cable is good and thick so will carry signal well. But I love the fact they used phillip head screws on the terminals in the connectors. Why do I like this? Because it makes it easy to do a repair or replacement at a show if necessary. Sometimes ends can get broken or crushed, and with a standard phillips head screw, you can switch out with another connector in just a few minutes, some connectors use allen screws, and the fact is, most people don't have a good set of allen wrenches with them at a show. The connectors are a no name brand, but they appear very solid and the outside of the cables are a slick finish which is easy to wipe off if you get a little too much bar funk on them.
