I bought this cold brew pitcher thinking it couldn’t possibly be much better than the one I already had. I was wrong! So much easier to use and makes much better cold brew. Would definitely recommend. If you love cold brew, get this pitcher. You won’t regret it.

I got the bigger size, the handle seems sturdy enough, but I'd still hold the jar as well when lifting it when it's full.First mistake I made was not having a good grip on it when I took it out of the package, it thudded and rolled hard on my countertop. But, it survived nicely!I did notice the rubber seal on the mesh filter seems a bit loose, but since there's also a seal on the jar, it seemed to work.The filter is awesome and well worth this purchase. I filled the filter up about halfway with coffee grounds and that seems to work for me. I filled the jar as high up as it would go with water.Once in the fridge, I would occasionally test for leaks, grab it, turn it sideways, upside down. No leaks at all. I held the pouring lid on top down while holding it upside down though since it's just a snap on.The lid is hard to unscrew if you tighten it too much, so I try to barely tighten it.My second mistake was I did not remove the filter first before pouring some into a coffee cup. I blame not yet having coffee for that mistake, so grounds did pour into my coffee mug on the first attempt. Once I removed the lid and filter, no coffee grounds whatsoever appeared in my coffee mug. So far, I'm happy with this purchase. I'd say the only thing that would make this absolutely perfect is having a handle on the mason jar so there is leverage to twist the lid off if it's on too tight.

I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this - I haven’t bought a store iced coffee since I got it. It’s super easy to use and the coffee is perfection. My only complaint is it didn’t come with any directions on the amount of coffee. I just read other reviews and figured it out based on my preference. Basically you just insert the filter in the jar and add your coffee grounds - I did mine about half way - then add water to the line. Secure the lid and put in fridge over night. In the morning remove the filter slowly and add a little more water to the jar if you want to fill it up more (got this tip from another review) and enjoy. I put a few ice cubes in my glass, then pour the coffee (the lid has a nice wide spout that doesn’t spill) and add a little creamer. One jar usually lasts me 4-5 days. I leave the filter out for a bit to let the grounds dry then throw them in the trash and clean the filter which is super easy to clean.

Excellent product, heavy glass, secure top, easy pour. Filter is made very well and sturdy. Would highly recommend!

It’s heavy. There was a small crack in the bottom of the glass jar but it doesn’t leak. Love the mesh filter. It was easy to clean and dry

Excellent! When my last french press broke I was determined to find a more sustainable solution.Beautiful Cold overnight coffee and also…For Hot French swirled coffee instead of pressed ;) I simply swirl coffee around for 3.5 minutes and pour with oven mits to avoid using the plastic lid. I only make a cup at a time and find this to be kind of like a coffee meditation :)

Had an older beaker style made of thin boric glass. Broke when knocked against stuff in sink. I like this design way better. It takes up less space in fridge and should I ever break, can pick up replacement jar at wally world for few bucks. Filter is good and sturdy, lets just right anount of standard grind through. If you were dumping turkish grind in it, you might need a spoon.

Making my own cold brew has saved me so much money and it is soooo easy to do. This jar works great and the filter doesn't allow any grinds into the coffee. Great buy.
