Q: I bought this and have the HDR-1800T, when setting up, it doesn't allow me to set up wifi on the box as the menu is 'greyed' out. Any ideas?

Make sure that you do not have a network cable plugged into the HDR-1800T. Like other devices it is not possible to use both a network cable and Wi-Fi for the same device at the same time. On the HDR-1800T the Wi-Fi option will be greyed out if you have the network cable connected.

Q: if you want freesat on more than 1 tv in the house, does each tv need a separate freesat box?

Usually you will need a Freesat box for each TV set in the house. This is so that each TV set has its own way of changing channels. If you all want to watch the same channel then you could just run a long cable from the box to the other TV set or plug it into some kind of media streaming device.

Q: Will this update my humax freeview player

This is the dongle which will help you to get the Humax box on to the internet. Once this is plugged in, this will should allow the Humax to 'speak' to your router. I suggest that you use the connection at the rear of the Humax box and keep the front socket for adding an additional hard drive which will give you greater storage capacity. Once the machine is 'on' and running, use the hand set and go to 'MENU' and then go to 'SETTINGS' and select the option you wish. I mostly use 'Installation' to refresh the channels available in my area and occasionally 'System' to access other applications. I hope this helps. PS your will need a password usually either 0000 (zero) or 1234.
