I used this charger to charge my brand new iPhone X- the charge actually dropped from 84% to 71% without use- I closed all background apps with roughly the same results. My son has a new iPhone 8 Plus and tried the charger thinking maybe my brand new phone port was defective- after 30 minutes of charging his battery percentage dropped from 35% to 20%. The charge sign was blinking on and off on both phones while it was plugged in. The cord looks durable and well made-unfortunately, not only did it not charge faster-it drained my battery- my son laughed at the irony-course he didn’t shell out 15$. I’m hoping this is just a defect as I like the idea of speeding up charging-but it gives you some insight into their quality control. I’ll return it for another and report back.

Latest cord review: My cord broke after 5-6 months,whichis fairly common, but I was so impressed with the first one I reordered. I have to use my phone sometimes when charging, which bends the cable. I’m assuming this why they don’t last me. I ordered an second one and it lasted me 1 day outside the return period! That’s insane and infuriating. I truly thought this was reliable product. Both just stopped charging. With the new order I made sure to remove the charger from the phone before I used it. Also took extra care to make sure the cord wasn’t bending anywhere. The quality control on these must be off. In addition to barely lasting a month - the light on the port was about 10x brighter then the last charger. It acted as a night light in my room at night. I had to put duct tape over it.Just be aware if you decide to order - I have since switched to 90 degree angle chargers.(This was my initial review- the first time I ordered it)I love this cable. It is the nicest cable I have ever had. Aesthetically, it’s super sleek and stream lined. Functionally, it’s superb. It charges my phone quickly, and the function to stop charging once the charge is complete is pretty cool. But that only works when the cable is used alone ( not when use with an extender or apple charger dock). The covering on the cable has held up well and I love that have a silicone piece so you can secure the cord when you wrap it up! So nice for traveling and such. I will be purchasing these charging cables exclusively from now on.

Hey, I mean at first it was a great charger! I mean it didn’t damage my battery life thanks to the smart charging. I bought this product back in mid April 2018. I’m a tech geek. I love tech. When I saw this I thought it looked cool and looked like it was a good product since it had around 4 stars at the time. But since i’ve Started using it it’s been around 7 month and i’ve started to have problems with it. I’ll plug it into my phone but it won’t charge. After unplugging it from my phone and plugging it back in and repeating this multiple times it works only sometimes. My conclusion is that it’s an okay product but not for the price. It is waaaayyyy too expensive for the quality they provide.

I like the blue light showing it's charging ... my concern is that on my iPhone I get a 96% - 97% charge vs. 100% ... conversely, on my iPad I get 100% ... not sure whether the iPhone charge is a result of the trickle charge feature or my battery (with the most recent update version I'm experiencing faster battery drain ... I've called Apple and been advised that batteries are back ordered and I'll be notified when mine is delivered to the Apple store closest to me ... but I digress as it may not be the cable issue)The cable appears to be well made ... hope this review helps

This seems to work well as a charging cable. It is well made and rugged. But... the plastic square of the plug is too big to fit into some slots. And, the little blue light flashes when in use, or something, it all seems unpredictable. Even if I understood what it is doing, the light is really too little to see. I both a Speed Charger Zone cable at the same time and it is a much better product.

This was nice why it lasted. Stopped working just after the return period was up. Another junky charging cord for the junk cord bin. We all have one, right? Update 4/21/18. A kind lady from customer service contacted me and said she was sorry for my issue with this charger cord and sent me another one. I am going to rate this product as a 5 for customer service alone. I will let you know how i make out with this cord.

If you want a cable that MIGHT charge your device this is for you. I have tried it on my iPhone and each of my iPads and had the same results. It might charge overnight but frequently find it hadn't. I have much better luck with generic lightning cables I bought at Costco. I'll stick with what I know.

The product appears high quality, but it will not charge the iPad while using it. It will also stop charging at random times whether the iPad is fully charged or not. Don’t waste your money on this.
