Good protectors but not correctors
These are nice and soft and offer good protection for bunions and chafing between toes. They are easy to put on and comfortable. However I expect they would do little to actually correct a bunion. £6.99 at time of review represents good value.

No money at all for the relief they bring
Around 23% of adults will suffer from bunions at some time in their life, usually due to increasing age. Associated with overly tight footwear, genetic predisposition and the onset of arthritis; the causes aren't fully understood but the pain is real – I can attest to that. Bunions are a painful swelling at the side of the base of the big toe which can at times be red, sore, and give difficulties wearing shoes due to the associated misalignment of the big toe. It's that misalignment and the associated pain that these Dykook™ Bunion Corrector Toe Straightener and Bunion Splints look to tackle. Offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme, six silica gel correctors are supplied. The gel can easily be trimmed if there is too much material for your foot and simply slips over the toe, after you have taken the precaution of washing your feet first -applying a small amount of talcum powder aids positioning correctly. The ‘fat’ part of the corrector is concave on both sides to sit securely between the toes and keep them separated. It’s this that changes the alignment. The ‘thin’ part sits over the bunion, helping to protect it in much the same way a plaster would protect a cut.The silica gel is very smooth indeed, there are no hard surfaces and once positioned it’s possible to wear socks unobtrusively as long as you pull them on carefully, and gives the ability to walk normally in shoes too. Given how sore and painful bunions can be particularly when trying to walk I found these brought relief, even if it’s fair to say they took a little getting used to, but I soon I forgot I was wearing one after a while. They are capable of being hand washed for cleanliness, which given I found the silica gel can get sweaty when it is warm means they will keep fresh. At just £6.99 for six that’s no money at all for the relief they bring and their ability to correct a misaligned toe given time.

Good but…
I like these and they do help, however they split apart after few days.

Toe separator
These are toe separators very useful if you have a bunion as they can prevent damage to adjacant toes. They are a soft silicone gel and are simple to put on just slide your big toe through the loop and adjust the separator to the correct, comfortable position. The flap on the outside prevents rubbing of the bunion. However I found that when I put socks, shoes or slippers on the ring tightened on my big toe so I had to remove it and it is also a bit sweaty which didnt help.

Comfortable!
These fitted easily over the big toe, I wore them all evening and overnight and forgot I had them on, very comfortable. Will carry on using and see if they do anything to correct my hallux valgus. I think they may be particular useful if your toes are overlapping or if you have rubbing down the side of your big toe as they are quite protective.

Would be good to know how to fit correctly
Took me a minute to work out how to pop on had to look on amazon to see how placed. The side piece doesnt lie as in their picture on the side of my foot anyway.
