Great results from a great kitchen tool!
I have been wanting a waffle head potato masher for a long time and when I saw this one on Amazon with great reviews AND that it was made in the USA I ordered it. Over Thanksgiving 4 different people used it and it did a great job on the potatoes - we mashed sweet potatoes and russet potatoes with it. I also want to use it to press peanut butter cookies - maybe that will be the next job for it! Kokel also has outstanding customer service. You can't go wrong with this masher!

Best masher ever...!
I recently bought this for what I thought would a second masher for our weekend home, however I have just used it for the first time and I can say without doubt it is the best masher I have used!It is slightly more compact than many other mashers out there so it allows you to get into the pot a bit easily and mash things well - it mashed my potatoes very smoothly. I have tried several other brands including OXO and Jaime Oliver.This will now be my main masher - think I will buy another!

The world's best spud masher
This is the masher par excellence! Unlike others that may look the same, it is stainless steel, not plated (which eventually rust and chip off into your food). It is solidly built with no rivets and ergonomically correct for the task of mashing. Other designs are inferior to this time-tested construction. The warranty is unbeatable, probably because you would never need to avail yourself of it. A big plus, for me, is that this masher is made right here in the U.S. of A.

Not sturdy no heavy gauge as my old FLINT made in ...
it's a little small, and there's plastic or glue at the end of the rod facing the head that fills up the hole of the rod. Nothing your going to pass down to anyone over but a temporary fix to mash the potatoes. Not sturdy no heavy gauge as my old FLINT made in USA. Was looking for a decent one to give to my daughter. This one is a no no.

Top notch quality tool!!!
I have used this potato masher 5 times now and ran it through the dishwasher 6 times . It is one top quality tool!!!. Very sturdy, durable, and yet lightweight enough to not tire the hand when in use. I am so glad to finally find a quality crafted tool that a company takes true pride in their workmanship. And Kokel stands behind their product with a Lifetime warranty on the item.
