Affordable 1x2 Flat Tiles
I like having a lot of flat white tiles in my builds - they can be pathways, floors, or top of castle walls, etc. Much more affordable than the name brand and they work well with them. You get 550 pieces - all the same 1x2 units. The ones I got were white and blend in well with the name brand ones I already owned. The big advantage of these are the relatively low price compared to the alternatives. They come in black and translucent blue as well. Nice affordable addition to my building sets.

First use… what the boys did with these…
I am sure there are many uses for these mini-tiles, both as part of building block projects and separately as small rectangular plastic pieces for other projects. See the two photos for what our two boys (ages 7 and 8.5 years) did for their first use.We have 10 inches by 10 inches flat sheet “building plates” that are compatible with the leading building block brand. These mini-tiles worked fine with the building plates. Each set is approx. 550 copies of the same flat 1 x 2 cap tile style piece, and all in the same color. While having a lot in the same color is useful for some projects, it would be nice to also have an assorted pack available to buy.Tip: to remove these small pieces from building plates or other building blocks you very likely will need to use one of the plastic “pry bars” that are provided in some of the larger building sets. And, we found it works better if you turn the pry bar upside down to gently wedge under these and pop them off. If you don’t have one, then try a flat thin and strong (but not sharp) edged tool such as a narrow and thin putty knife. Some of these are plastic, others are metal. This review is for the “Minizfigs White 1x2 Tiles 550 PCS Bulk Building Toy Set…” product.

Quality bulk plates at a killer price.
If you've ever tried buying LEGO tiles in bulk, you know it can cost a pretty penny. This is especially true of transparent tiles. Fortunately, Minizfigs sells bricks in bulk at a much lower price. Comparatively, if I were to get this many transparent tiles from LEGO, I would pay more than 2.5 times as much as what it costs to buy this lot.Not only are these much, much cheaper, but they fit perfectly! My boys have used them on all our sets, large and small. We've had no issues connecting the tiles or having them stay connected. You can see in the photo one small set that they used the tiles on to make a water scene.I highly recommend this brand to anyone who needs to add more bricks to their collection.

great dupe for the real thing, almost can't tell them apart
My husband is a Lego guru, like has collected them for years. I know the tile pieces are hard to come by, and if you do get them, they can be pretty spendy (like 10 cents a piece spendy, which adds up fast) He used these for waterscapes/waterfalls and he said they worked well. they are a similar color to the real lego ones, with minimal differences. Overall, this is a great dupe

BIG Bag of Small 1x2 Smooth Tiles
I opted for the transparent light blue. These are perfectly compatible with the L-branded pieces. They are, however, a different shade of blue from the L-brand transparent light blue, and obviously different from the trans dark blue. These would be great for vast window/glass panes in a build, or large water sections. And at under 3 cents per piece, this is a good value for volume needs.Recommended

Good value
You get quite a good number of bricks for this price. They are useful for portraying the surface of a pond or creek, or for windows since they are transparent blue. You have to use a white or light colored base under them or the blue color is overwhelmed.

snap well!
These clear blue look amazing in our water scenes. 3.5 year old is obsessed with pretend oceans and marbling solid blues just wasn't doing it for him - though layering these on top of the marbled blues is acceptable (and looks cool). He says you can see through water lol. We even build walls and scattered clip pieces to hang his ocean creations. 550 seems like a lot but it's really just a starting point if you're building up. I'll be ordering a second set to help him finish. We recommend these!
