This lamp shade is not an imported product. It is made with pride in the USA, and construction does not begin until you place your order. By request, you may specify changes to the dimensions, covering or the hardware color. (Extra charges may be necessary.) This shade is equipped with a Washer fitter. This is the most common fitter type. It consists of a small washer with an inner diameter hole size of approximately 1/2". The washer generally rests on the top of a metal harp above the light bulb and is held in place by a screw-on finial.The outside of the lamp shade has a beautiful fabric. The inside is a white styrene (white plastic). The top and bottom of this item is adorned with a 1/2" band of single fold lampshade trim. The trim is the same color as the covering.

These shades are wonderful quality (wife review). You can visit the company site directly and there are many more options and cusimiztions available. The size on my search in Amazon did not work but I loved the color, structure and it was going to be perfect for my lamp. On the company site I found a custimze size and love it. (sorry picture would not upload)

It's just what I wanted!
This lamp is about 40 years old. The original shade was broken in a move. My parents had a hard time finding a long enough shade, so it had a strange little short one on there for many years. Now that the lamp is mine, I wanted to find the right kind of shade. I searched and searched. I was happy to finally find this one! It is well made and I love it. It was packed extremely well and shipped quickly.

Beautiful
I had two old lamps from the house I grew up in—wooden, large, from probably the 1960s. Never had shades that suited them and finally had the money to get one. This works beautifully, looks great, arrived quickly, and is well-made. I’m so pleased I’m getting the other lamp out of the closet and ordering it the same shade. The right size, shape, color (cream), and quality.

We have a homemade wooden lamp that looked dated with the original shade. Looks so much better with a modern looking shade!

It is difficult to find lamp shades these days. Thankfully, Amazon has a good selection with vendors with great service. We are very pleased with the service of the vendor, and with the quality of the shade. I have stopped looking elsewhere for lamp shades. Amazon!

Packaged so nicely and arrived early!
I was on the fence about buying this shade for about 6 months. We are on a tight budget as we remodel our home and we are using hand me downs and discount items. I have two older lamps from my mother that I REALLY don't like but after some spray paint and these shades, the lamps really have a farmhouse feel to them and I couldn't be happier. There weren't many reviews or photos when I bought the shades so I was nervous I might not like them, but I'm definitely glad I did now. Could be something similar as a shade you could get from Whole Market or maybe Restoration Hardware. I bought two burlap shades.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought it to to replace a 12”dx10”h lampshade that was too short to keep the light out of my eyes.My only problem is (which I should have thought of when I read how long the shade is) it is difficult to get my arm inside to turn the lamp on and off. I have it on a floor lamp and I have to pick up the whole thing from the rod/tube/pipe high enough off the ground so I can tilt it at an angle to get my arm in there enough. It’s okay because this is a lamp we leave on all the time but still. The one we ordered is 12” diameter x 17” long. I would still order it again
