What else do you need?
Bought the OX4 as a back up to my natural ground blind to use when in bad weather but after setting it ip I decided to use it for every sit.Set up is easy (like every other hub blind), secured it with she stakes and guide lines and it’s pretty much bomb proof. Plenty of D-loops around the top to secure brush for additional concealment. I found the blind to be pretty conspicuous until I added brush then it pretty much disappeared.Inside plenty of space for 2-people. (Any more space (OX 5) might be too much space for one person) A comfortable chair, a milk crate for a side table/foot rest, a propane heater…biggest problem was staying awake. (Or even wanting to leave the blind). Obviously the blind doesn’t provide any insulation but it blocks 100% of the wind. Seriously, I look forward to getting in the blind especially when it’s cold, windy, rainy, it’s that comfortable.Windows are easy to manipulate once you understand how they work. (That’s not s knock, being a guy I don’t read instructions). I do wish the bottom of the window was a few inches higher. Backpack/bag make it very easy to pack in/out.Honestly, I don’t think anyone could ask for more in a portable blind, especially at this price point.

Outstanding quality
Just received the Bartlett Ox 4 blind and set it up in the basement. The quality is top notch. My previous blind had small pin holes everywhere on the stitching that I had to seal before use . The Ox 4 had none anywhere. The material is very sturdy and looks like it will hold up very well to Michigan weather. Even the carry bag is excellent quality. I cannot wait to use it out in the woods.

Good blind but cheap backpack
I recently used the OX4 blind hunting 10 days in the UP of Michigan. It's heavy duty held up well in snow ice and rain. Not completely waterproof there were a few drips at the roof seams around the perimeter when the ice and snow melted a little in the sun. But the drips were along the walls and didn't drip on me or my gun. It rained one night so don't know how drippy it was in the rain. Pin holes are apparent from inside especially where the brush loops are stitched to the fabric. The window was a little tricky to adjust but at first but I was able to fine tune the window opening to suit. The tent stakes are wide and will hold the blind in wind. The blind takes 8 stakes they supplied 11. However the first time I hefted the blind in the backpack onto my shoulders the seam between the carry straps split down the length of the pack. With a top of line blind you would think they would have supplied a decent backpack. The blind is on the heavy side especially carrying the stakes and other supplies in the pouch on the pack. A a waist belt on the backpack would be needed to pack it any distance. I had activated the warranty so when I called Barronett and reported the problem they sent a new backpack out immediately. I was at camp and it arrived at my house before I got home.

Couldn't be happier with Barronett's OX 4
After researching several brands and models of ground blinds I ended up with Barronett's OX 4. Barronett's oxhide fabric is a double layered fabric that is both quiet and waterproof. This was very important as I hunt in Michigan where inclement weather, especially in November and December is normal. This pop-up hud blind is easy to set up and take down. It does take a couple practice rounds to get the hang of it, but is fairly easy to do even alone. It comes with a transport bag with shoulder straps that I found comfortable to wear to haul the blind. It actually fits into the bag well and was easy to mobilize considering the blind weighs in at just over 30 lbs. The zipperless window system works well and is fairly quiet compared to a zipper, however, is not silent. There was plenty of space inside the blind for my wife and myself to hunt comfortably with all of our gear. It blocked the wind well and blended nicely into a hardwood setting with the blood trial camo. It rained, snowed, rained, and snowed again and this blind seemed resilient to everything Michigan had to throw at it and helped me achieve a successful hunting season. The blind appears to be manufactured well and seems durable enough to withstand hunting wear and tear and Michigans weather for years to come. I couldn't be happier with the first hunting season in Barronetts OX 4.

Falling apart after 1 season
Loved the size and initial durability of this Blind. The fabric is thick, almost like canvas so I thought it would last a while. I used it last hunting season, then packed it away in my garage for the summer. I set it up this weekend and didn't realize it had faded and the straps on the outside had disintegrated.
